• ABC News: Lawmakers in Belarus passed a bill Thursday allowing punishments for people who promote LGBTQ causes. Belarus doesn’t recognize same-sex marriages and lacks protection for LGBTQ rights. President Alexander Lukashenko, who has ruled the east European nation for more than 3 decades, has publicly mocked homosexuality.

• OUT: Pillion, the BDSM biker romance starring Alexander Skarsgård, arrives on VOD this week, but news of an R-rated version stokes fears the film is being sanitized for streaming.

• LGBTQ Nation: A trans activist is now reportedly under investigation after putting Kansas’ new trans bathroom ban to the test. Samantha Boucher, executive director of Trans Liberty, informed the state Capitol Police before using the women’s restroom in defiance of a recently passed state law.

• Washington Post: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has asked Gen. Randy George, currently serving as Army Chief of Staff, to step down and retire more than a year before the end of what is typically a four-year assignment. Military experts say its an extraordinary move in the middle of the ongoing war with Iran.

• X: Soon-to-be-former Attorney General Pam Bondi said in her first public statement since being fired by a 34x convicted felon that she is “thrilled” about moving on to an “important private sector role.” The response on social media was brutal.
