Self-described racist Paul Ng (screen captures)TMZ reports that an Arizona man, identified as Paul Ng, told a Black man shooting an episode for his podcast on a public street that he was in a “no n*gg*r zone.” Andre Abram was recording an episode for his podcast in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ last Friday with his cameraman, who’s also African-American. As they were recording, they noticed Ng scoping them out. Abram’s camera was rolling when Ng strolled over and asked the two men what they were doing. Ng explained that “we’ve had problems here,” before going on to admit that he is, in fact, a racist. Abram calmly explained that they were not, in fact, in a “no n*ggr zone,” but Ng continued to ask Abram questions about where he’s from and why he’s there. Abram didn’t escalate the situation, but eventually police tracked Ng down at his home where he was cited for disorderly conduct. It turns out Ng was a Realtor with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty – “was” because the real estate office fired Ng upon learning of his abhorrent behavior. The broker there also recommended Ng’s state license be revoked. And there you have it.
This is an anti-Black racist Asian man named Paul Ng of Scottsdale AZ..He was fired from his job after he tried to provoke an altercation with a Black man.
Kaila and Erica at their Belize-inspired backyard honeymoon surprise (photo: Rachel Rodgers) As part of their “Honeymoon for Heroes” campaign, the folks at Southwest Rapid Rewards Card from Chase just gave away 1 Million Rapid Rewards Points to essential workers. In partnership with Brides.com, Chase and Southwest surprised five essential worker couples across the country with a pop-up backyard honeymoon experience PLUS 200,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards points (about $3K in value) that don’t expire so they can take their real trip (or trips) when they are ready to travel. Chase and Southwest took the time to get to know each couple over the past few months, including their unique love story and ideal honeymoon destination, so that they could design a pop-up backyard honeymoon experience that felt special and personal to their relationship. For example, Erica, who is a pediatric ICU nurse, and Kaila, who is a licensed clinical social worker in New York City, were planning to visit a tropical island for a relaxing beach trip, but had to put their plans on hold when COVID started ramping up across the city. Chase and Southwest decided to surprise them with a Bohemian Picnic backyard honeymoon experience, inspired by the islands of Belize and Turks and Caicos, to give them the chance to relax and unwind on the beach as originally intended, without any of the hassle or worry. Joel and Zenile celebrate their Southwest surprise (photo: Rachel Rodgers) All of the couples also received Southwest’s coveted Companion Pass status through EOY 2021, which allows a Rapid Rewards member’s companion to fly with them free of airline charges every time they book a flight using points. Plus, each of the couples will be featured on Brides.com at the end of the month in a guide to planning weddings and honeymoons. It’s totally a ‘best practice’ to use a credit card like Southwest’s for expenses. If you’re going to be spending the money on the happy nuptials anyway, why not earn points for use towards the honeymoon? As part of the campaign, over 1,000 individuals were surveyed about their honeymoon plans and as you might expect, 2/3 of couples had to change their honeymoon travel plans (coronavirus pandemic, don’t you know…). But 3/4 of couples do intend to stick with their original honeymoon destination when they finally feel comfortable traveling.
Chris Renfro and Michael Henry (screen capture) Which is worse – being called a ‘basic’ gay or being kicked out of bed for not voting? I have to say Michael Henry’s latest video exploration into the world of the gays had me scratching my head a bit. I know I’ve heard of gays who don’t vote, but do they really exist? Really? In the video, Clint shares a recent story of a nooner gone bad after he casually mentioned he doesn’t vote, nor does he plan to. Shaken out of his afterglow by the revelation, Nathan throws Clint out of his apartment. Needless to say, Clint’s indignation over being kicked to the curb falls on less than sympathetic ears as Michael and Chris are just as horrified by his lack of civic duty. “Would you kick someone out of bed for not voting?” asks Clint with a – pardon the expression – straight face. Clint Keller (screen capture) Chris and Michael in unison: “YES!” The democratic duo then goes into all the reasons how not voting serves no purpose whatsoever. Oh, and Clint also admits he won’t be going out this weekend because he partied so hard at Atlanta Pride he got gout. “What’s the big deal? It’s my right to have a good time in a dark warehouse. So what if it’s a ‘super spreader’ event at the public’s expense?” In this day and age of Donald Trump packing the courts with ultra-conservative judges whose rulings can shape (or reduce) LGBTQ rights, kicking transgender soldiers out of the U.S. military and arguing at the Supreme Court it’s fine to fire someone for who they love, why would someone choose to not vote? I mean, not even fill out a mail-in ballot? Michael Henry is, once again spot-on not only on the issue but with his timing as the election is only one week away. Watch the quick video below, then make sure you vote! Note: For those concerned about coronavirus safety, Michael Henry shares, “Nathan and Clint are in a relationship and we filmed in their apartment.”

Donald Trump (screen capture) So. Much. Winning. With talks for a fiscal stimulus package stalled and coronavirus infections spiking in states across the U.S., the stock market tanked to the tune of 900 points on Monday. From CNBC:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded 900 points lower, or 3.2%, and was headed for its biggest one-day loss since June 11. The S&P 500 slid 2.7% and the Nasdaq Composite dipped 2.5%.
Monday’s decline erased the monthly gains for the Dow industrials.
The decline came amid a record surge in new coronavirus cases in the U.S. The country saw more than 83,000 new infections on both Friday and Saturday after outbreaks in Sun Belt states, surpassing a previous record of roughly 77,300 cases set in July, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
The data also showed the country has reported an average of 68,767 cases per day over the past seven days, a record.
26-year-old James Blight (mug shot) Police say a 26-year-old Trump supporter stole a bulldozer from a construction site and drove through the front yards of a Black neighborhood in Florida in order to remove pro-Joe Biden campaign signs. In addition to the private property destroyed, the man – James Blight – ran down a speed limit sign and tore through a fence. From the Washington Post:
Residents in a predominantly Black neighborhood in Haines City, Fla., knew something was off on Saturday when they saw a young White man driving a bulldozer on the street. As he made his way down the block, the man began running over every lawn sign in sight supporting Joe Biden.
“This man came onto my property, took the two Joe Biden signs I had in my yard and then came back with a bulldozer to run down my fence,” Adam Burgess, a local homeowner, told Bay News 9.
The man, later identified by police as 26-year-old James Blight, was charged with grand theft auto and trespassing, according to the outlet. The incident in Florida is the latest example of increased tensions days before the election, as yard signs and other public proclamations of support for either presidential candidate have become a point of contention — and have occasionally led to violence.
Former vice Mayor Adam Burgess told Bay News 9: “To come into our community and destroy property – it speaks to the dog whistles that Donald Trump has been putting out his whole campaign. Stand back and stand by and we have guys in bulldozers doing this. What does the president have to say about that?”

New York City-based singer/songwriter Kyle Motsinger Out singer/songwriter Kyle Motsinger has dropped a dark new music video in time for Halloween and the Election! The track is titled “The Upside Down” and is the latest single from his new album, Any Way I Want It To! “When the world shut down due to a deadly pandemic I was left unemployed but inspired,” says Motsinger. “I wanted to create and document what we were going through. I said to a friend that I felt like we were living in the Upside Down from the hit show, “Stranger Things.” The Upside Down is a shadowy alternative of our world on “Stranger Things” that is full of monsters. In our real-life version, says Motsinger, we’ve “had to deal with an incompetent and selfish president and a deadly virus that has gone on to kill over 220,000 (so far) in the United States alone.” Kyle Motsinger in ‘The Upside Down’ The 80s-inspired, synth-heavy track conjures up an atmosphere of dark, dystopian dread:
This is life in the upside down Humanity enslaved by greedy orange clown Hang your Christmas lights I’m calling from the other side Something bad is coming and I have no place to hide I’m lost, lost in the upside down
Motsinger shot and edited the video all on his own due to time constraints on his usual cinematographer (and a lack of a budget without a Stimulus package being passed by Congress). BUT – the woofy ginger adds, “I think it proves that you can make magic happen if you have a little creativity and some colored lights!” The new track and album are available on iTunes here and you can stream via Spotify here. While Donald Trump mangles the English language out at his ego-stroke rallies, Joe Biden is clearly sharp as a tack in this clip from 60 Minutes. Biden: “The same guy who thought the 9/11 attack was a 7/11 attack – he’s talking about dementia? Watch me – see what I’ve done, see what I’m going to do, look at me. Compare our physical and mental acuity – I’m happy to have that comparison.” Stop watching Fox News, stop listening to Rush Limbaugh (who has his own serious health issues), and just watch.
Fitness coach Austin Martin (via Instagram) Checking in on some of my favorite InstaHunks this weekend. First up, fitness coach Austin Martin (above) reminds us all to bundle up for winter. Next, Garrett Magee, of Bravo’s Backyard Envy, took some time to explore Joshua Tree National Park:
I discovered this delightful Instagram account of a hottie who began the account with an imaginary beagle, and then he actually got one named Pasta. Pasta, apparently, loves being pushed around in shopping carts – and Target carts are the “SUV of shopping carts.”
