Former Officer Found Guilty Of Manslaughter In Taser/Gun Shooting

Kimberly Potter, former Brooklyn Center police officer,  was sentenced Friday to two years in prison after being found guilty of first and second-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright in April of 2021.

With economic factors in flux due, in part, to the omicron variant, the Biden administration has extended the moratorium on federal student loan payments through May 1.
