Daily Dance: Strictly Come Dancing’s Gorgeous Same-Sex Waltz

The professional dancers of Strictly Come Dancing blew the audience away with a Bridgerton-inspired waltz with same-sex couples dancing together

For #FlashbackFriday, I’m revisiting this gorgeous Bridgerton-inspired same-sex waltz performed by the oh-so-talented dance pros of the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing back in 2021.

Set to a lush arrangement of Taylor Swift’s “Lover” and “Love Story,” the dance begins with mixed-sex couples who pause as Johannes Radebe enters via a grand staircase to meet his dance partner Kai Widdrington.

The duo then lead the group in a sweeping same-sex waltz that left the audience blown away. The choreography is stunningly beautiful, and you can see the joy in the pros faces as they couple up with their same-sex partners. Air Force Reverses On Early Retirement For Transgender Service Members

The U.S. Air Force has suddenly reversed on previously approved early retirements for transgender service members with 15 to 18 years of service.

Trump Claims Crime In DC Is ‘Out Of Control’ – It’s Actually Down

In yet another attempt to divert attention from the Jeffrey Epstein files and last week’s disappointing jobs report, Donald Trump says crime in Washington, D.C. is “totally out of control” as he threatened to “take Federal control of the city.”

Someone might want to tell the 34-time convicted felon that crime in D.C. was down 35 percent in 2024 from the previous year, marking a 30-year low.
