Judge Dismisses Child Sex Charges Against Timothy Busfield + More

Some news items for you as we head into the weekend:

• New York Times: A judge has dismissed the case against actor/director Timothy Busfield (above), who was indicted on charges of child sex abuse on a TV set where he was directing. The Thirtysomething/West Wing star had vehemently denied the accusations.

His lawyers released audio recordings in which both of the boys told authorities that Busfield had not touched them inappropriately. And the show’s lead actress, Élodie Yung, said in an interview the boys’ mother told her that after their roles were recast she would “get her revenge against Tim Busfield.”
