• The Advocate: A city in Florida and its county have been ordered to pay around $885,000 in legal fees after a judge struck down its ban against so-called “conversion therapy” for minors.
• LGBTQ Nation: Felon George Santos has announced he’s leaving New York because it’ll be too “dangerous” if Zohran Mamdani wins the mayoral race in November. So – Mamdani is already getting rid of the criminals…

• New York Times: The White House is demolishing the entire the East Wing to make way for Trump’s $250 million ballroom, a construction project that is far more extensive than he initially let on.
When first announced, Trump pledged that the East Wing wouldn’t be touched by the construction.

• Washington Post: Millions of Americans are already seeing their health insurance costs soar for 2026 as Congress remains deadlocked over extending covid-era subsidies for premiums.
• CBS News: A new CBS News/YouGov poll shows overwhelming support (62%) from likely voters for Prop 50 in California, which would approve a new congressional map for the state. Of those who say they will vote ‘yes,’ 75% say they are doing so “to oppose Donald Trump.”
