• New York Times: Playing hardball, lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein’s convicted co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, said in a letter to Congress on Monday that she was unwilling to testify without a grant of immunity or presidential action to shorten her 20-year prison sentence.
• The Advocate: Defensive tackle Christian Wilkins was released by the Las Vegas Raiders last week after kissing a fellow player on the head. Wilkins called the gesture “playful.”
Even though the Las Vegas Raiders athlete described the gesture as “playful,” he was still dropped from the team.

• Xtra: Jenson Little and Clayton Reeves became the first out trans men to compete on the popular athletic competition show “American Ninja Warrior.”

• LGBTQ Nation: Over 100,000 people marched in London’s Trans+ Pride event on Saturday, making it the biggest trans Pride march in the world.
• Queerty: The crew of the upcoming Heartstopper movie has completed filming on the show’s finale. In an Instagram post, Joe Locke said goodbye to his character “Charlie,” and fans lost it.
• New York Times: Prime Minister Keir Starmer of Britain said the UK would recognize the state of Palestine in September if Israel does not agree to a cease-fire with Hamas. France announced it will recognize Palestine last week.
• Politico: Democrats are celebrating the news that Roy Cooper, a popular Democratic two-term governor in North Carolina, has announced he will run for the open U.S. Senate seat in his state next year. Cooper set a fund-raising record pulling in over $3.4 million in the first 24 hours after his announcement.
