• The Guardian: Google’s online and mobile calendars are no longer including references to Black History Month, Women’s History Month and LGBTQ+ Pride, among other events. • LGBTQ Nation: The U.S. State Department has issued a memo stating that the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) can only offer HIV-preventing medications to pregnant and breastfeeding women rather than to LGBTQ+ people, sex workers and other groups at high-risk for contracting HIV.
The policy change is illegal and will result in easily preventable deaths, experts say.
