CNN‘s exclusive interview with Democrats Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz scored 6.3 million viewers on Thursday night, according to data from Nielsen. During the same time slot, Fox News averaged 2.65 million viewers and MSNBC garnered an average of 1.3 million viewers.

The interview went pretty much as I expected. Early on in the chat, Harris embraced her time as veep to President Joe Biden and held firm to her support of the administration’s results. She also made it clear her intention is to “turn the page” on the last several years of government tainted by Donald Trump’s ugly imprint on politics. But she added that bipartisanship was part of her vision and suggested she would appoint a Republican to her cabinet.
