White House: U.S. COVID-19 Deaths Could Range From 100,000-240,000

A sobering reality: at today’s coronavirus briefing at the White House today, Dr. Anthony Fauci was asked by CNN’s Jim Acosta, “Should Americans prepare for the likelihood that there’ll be 100,000 Americans that will die from the virus?” Dr. Fauci responds, “The answer is yes.” Folks watching the briefing noted Donald Trump handed off the more sobering announcements. You’ll recall on March 9, downplayed COVID-19 saying 37,000 Americans died from the flu last year. Watch below.

So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!
