What To Watch: 35th GLAAD Media Awards LA On Hulu

What to watch this weekend? Head over to Hulu on Friday, March 29, for the premiere of the 35th Annual GLAAD Media Awards LA held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. This marks Hulu’s fourth consecutive year as the official streaming destination of the GLAAD Media Awards, furthering its commitment to showcasing LGBTQ stories and storytellers year-round. The GLAAD Media Awards honor media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues. As I previously reported, GLAAD announced recipients for 16 of this year’s 33 categories at the Los Angeles edition of its 2024 awards, including Fellow Travelers (stars Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey in top photo) being honored as Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. Plus, Oprah Winfrey received the Vanguard Award, introduced by long-time friends, iconic Chicago performer Chilli Pepper, and celebrity host Paolo Presta.

Niecy Nash-Betts received the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, presented by Sharon Stone. The remaining winners for select categories will be announced at GLAAD’s New York Ceremony on Saturday, May 11.
