Apple is working on a product that would combine an Apple TV set-top box with a HomePod speaker and include a camera for video conferencing through a connected TV and other smart-home functions. • Detroit Free Press: Ted Nugent, the aging rocker, mocked health guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in a recent Facebook video asking, “Why weren’t we shut down for COVID one through 18?” Of course, the coronavirus that has killed close to 560,000 people in the U.S. was named for the year in which the first infection was reported — 2019.

Ted Nugent “apologizes” for calling President “subhuman mongrel”

Ted Nugent appeared on the February 21 edition of WBAP’s The Ben Ferguson Show and offered a non-apology for his language when he called President Obama a “subhuman mongrel.”

Nugent says he was just using “metaphorical street language.”

Remember when the Dixie Chicks said they were “ashamed” by President Bush and received HUGE backlash?  Nugent calls our President “subhuman mongrel” and really doesn’t see anything wrong with it.

Sarah Palin endorses Abbott:”Good enough for Ted Nugent, good enough for me”

Sarah Palin, former half-term governor of Alaska, has endorsed Greg Abbott for governor of Texas saying he is “good enough:”

“Check the box for another good conservative – Greg Abbott for Governor of Texas. Like Katrina, Greg has overcome many personal obstacles and challenges, which have made him a believer in the power of liberty and the need to defend our freedoms from the overreach of an out-of-control federal government. If he is good enough for Ted Nugent, he is good enough for me!”

Speaking of Ted Nugent, that would be the same guy who last month described President Obama as “subhuman mongrel.”

That is the same language Nazis called Jews to justify the genocide of the Jewish community.

I’m guessing that’s good enough for Sarah Palin, too.

Ted Nugent: Take away constitutional right of voting from those on welfare

“Let’s stop the insanity by suspending the right to vote of any American who is on welfare. Once they get off welfare and are self-sustaining, they get their right to vote restored. No American on welfare should have the right to vote for tax increases on those Americans who are working and paying taxes to support them. That’s insane.

“In addition to suspending a welfare recipient’s right to vote, we also need to get our voting system straightened out and eliminate voter fraud. We need to ensure that only Americans vote by requiring polling places to validate the identification of each voter. It shouldn’t take a Motown guitar slayer to come up with these common-sense bargaining chips before taxes are raised on the producers, which will further choke the economy. How about it, GOP?” – Right wing former rock star Ted Nugent, writing for the Moonie Times.

Ted Nugent fined and sentenced to 2yrs probation

Recently in the news for urging NRA members “to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November,” Ted Nugent has agreed to pay a $10,000 fine and accept two years probation for illegally killing an Alaskan black bear during the filming of an episode for his hunting reality show. He also has a film a PSA about hunting.

“This PSA will discuss the importance of a hunter’s responsibility in knowing the rules and regulations of the hunting activities that they engage in, which is subject to the review and final approval, prior to any broadcast, by a representative of the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Alaska,” the agreement says. 

Nugent, who signed the document April 14, also agreed to pay the state $600 for the bear that was taken illegally, according to the agreement. He would still need to enter the plea in court and have the plea be approved by a judge.

Ted Nugent to be interviewed by Secret Service

Ted Nugent has gotten himself into a bit of a pickle and now the Secret Service are asking to sit down and discuss his comments made last week.

At last weekend’s National Rifle Association convention, Nugent referred to what he called Obama’s “evil, America-hating administration” and urged NRA members to “to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November.”

Nugent now says he never inferred any violence.

Umm… ride into battle and “chop their heads off” sounds pretty violent.

Why GOP supporters have to use such violent imagery I’ll never know. As we all remember Sarah Palin caught flak last year when she used violent imagery and “cross-hairs” in terms of “targeting” elected Democrats, one of whom was Congresswoman Gabby Giffords who was subsequently shot in the head.

Kids – stop with the violent language. If you want to win in the fall, just say “let’s go out there and win this election.” Much better for all.
