UK Olympic diver Tom Daley – “I’m not gay”
UK Olympic diver and heart-throb Tom Daley wants you to know he’s not gay – but doesn’t mind if you think he is:
“I think it’s funny when people say I’m gay… I laugh it off.
“I’m not. But even if I was, I wouldn’t be ashamed. It wouldn’t bother me in the slightest what people thought. “
“But I can understand why I have a massive gay following – I spend most of my life half naked in trunks on a diving board showing off my bare chest. I often joke I wear more to bed than I do to work.
“But I’m cool with my gay following. It’s great to have gay fans even though my friends gently take the mick. I just think about my diving.
“If people think I am gay or that I don’t focus on my diving enough and go out too much, there is always going to be an opinion – and if I worry about that too much, then my diving goes downhill.”

New Zealand law students parody Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” with feminist view
A group of Auckland law students got nearly 300,000 hits on YouTube with their tongue-in-cheek parody of Robin Thicke’s hit song ‘Blurred lines’ before YouTube deleted the video.
Their video is a feminist response to Thicke’s song which has drawn criticism for “blurring the lines” between consensual and non-consensual sex. The hit’s promo video also features topless models, so here we get shirtless men. Hello, Mr. Right-side-of-screen…
The parody is part of Auckland University’s law revue – a show of 40 skits performed at SkyCity Theatre last week.

Ben Cohen rumored to compete (shirtless) on Strictly Come Dancing
Guess who might appear shirtless on Britain’s version of Dancing With The Stars?
Whoo-hoo!
From The Metro:
Who is he: Chiseled member of England’s 2003 Rugby World cup winning squad, better known for his philanthropic work (he is founder of the anti-bullying organisation The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation) since retiring from the game in 2011.
Chances of being true: Strictly has a long history of welcoming rugby stars on to the dancefloor. Some of them have even done quite well (Austin Healy, Kenny Logan, Matt Dawson and, against all the odds, Gavin Henson). So we don’t think it would be entirely out of the question for Ben to follow in their footsteps. And besides, we all know the show needs eye candy.
Would be most likely to: Have women (and, given his big gay following, quite a few men) swooning on the inevitable week when his shirt falls off entirely by accident.

| John Cena (L) Darren Young (R) |
The WWE has issued a statement to GLAAD regarding Darren Young coming out: “WWE is proud of Darren Young for being open about his sexuality, and we will continue to support him as a WWE Superstar. Today, in fact, Darren will be participating in one of our Be A Star anti-bullying rallies in Los Angeles to teach children how to create positive environments for everyone regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation.”
WWE superstar John Cena applauds: “Good for him. That’s fantastic. I know Darren personally. Darren’s a great guy. That’s a very bold move for him. And congratulations for him for actually finally doing it. It’s all about being professional, and Darren Young is a consummate professional. For us, it’s entertainment, and if you’re entertaining you shouldn’t be judged by race, creed, color or sexuality … as long as you’re entertaining.”
