Donald Trump took to Twitter, his favorite sandbox, to lavish praise on his followers this morning calling them the “smartest, strongest, most hard working and most loyal” in the history of the United States.

“My supporters are the smartest, strongest, most hard working and most loyal that we have seen in our countries history. It is a beautiful thing to watch as we win elections and gather support from all over the country. As we get stronger, so does our country. Best numbers ever!” he tweeted.

Not really sure what “numbers” the Trumpster is looking at.

FiveThirtyEight took a look at Morning Consult’s monthly round up of approval polls from every state in the county.

The simple math shows Trump’s net approval has declined in all 50 states since he took office.

He’s lost the most ground in New Mexico and Illinois – both show 31 point drops since inauguration day.

Trump has lost the least support in Louisiana and Alabama – only 6 point declines, but still, declines.

FiveThirtyEight also points out that Trump’s approval is basically steady at

Plus, the generic ballot asking which party would voters like to see win in the mid-term elections shows Democrats with an 8 point advantage, up two points from last month.

Poll: Guess Who In The LGBTQ Community Is Having More Sex

Pride Month is the perfect time to raise our voices.

With that in mind, Buzzfeed News thought this would be a good time to ask some questions about the LGBTQ community.

And so, they did.

From the survey of 880 LGBTQ folks:

• 55% of the respondents were women, 41% were men, and 4-5% identified as queer/nonbinary

• Twice as many identify as gay than lesbian – 32% to 16%

• Here’s news – almost half (46%) identified as bisexual

• Only 51 of the 880 respondents identified as transgender

• Correlating with recent reports, most who say they are LGBTQ are under 40 with 57% being between 18-39 as younger people are coming out more and more these days

• When it comes to sex, bisexual folks are leading the pack with 29% saying they have sex once or twice a week and 15% reporting even more. (Insert funny about having twice as many chances here)

That compares to 18% of gay people having sex once a week and 14% several times.

Lesbians indicated the least sex with 35% abstaining last year, 19% several times a year, 25% once or twice a month, and 4% several times a week.

The survey also shows that LGBTQ voters overwhelmingly identify as Democrats and ideologically center-left with the partisan gap at an astounding 53%:

Party Affiliation:
• 65% identify as Democrats
• 21% identify as Independents
• 12% identify as Republicans
Partisan Gap: 53%

Ideology:
• 59% identify as somewhat or very liberal
• 25% identify as moderate
• 11% identify as somewhat or very conservative
Ideological Gap: 48%

Political Engagement:
• 88% are registered to vote
• 67% vote in state and federal elections

Lucas Acosta, DNC LGBTQ Media Director, responded to those numbers saying, “LGBTQ voters know that Democrats have stood by their side in the fight for equal rights and equal opportunity.”

“The Republican strategy of ignoring the LGBTQ community and erasing us from mentions on websites, all while trying to strip us of access to quality and affordable health care–has long lasting impacts on our community.”

“With more LGBTQ Democratic candidates running up and down the ticket than ever before, LGBTQ voters will be an integral part of sending Democrats to victory this November,” Acosta added.

Poll: More Americans Trust Former FBI Director James Comey Than Donald Trump

James Comey

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll indicates more Americans trust former FBI Director James Comey to tell the truth than President Trump.

The survey, conducted from April 8-11, showed that 48% of respondents find Comey “more believable” than Trump, who only garnered 32% support for truth-telling.

The poll comes as Comey’s upcoming book, A Higher Loyalty, is scheduled to hit book stores on Tuesday.

Trump famously fired Comey from the FBI after becoming frustrated over the investigation into possible collusion with Russian actors in interfering with the 2016 presidential election.

Almost half of those polled (47%) indicated disapproval of Trump’s decision to fire Comey, compared to only 33% who said they approve.

Poll: 67% Of Younger Americans Disapprove Of Donald Trump’s Handling Of The Presidency

Donald Trump
A new poll released by the Associated Press today shows a large majority of younger Americans (age 15-34) disapprove of Donald Trump’s handling of the presidency, and call him “racist” and “unfit” to be president.

From The Hill:

Just 33 percent of Americans between the ages of 15 and 34 approve of the president’s performance in office, nine points lower than the average of all adults in the same poll this month.

In addition, more than six in ten younger Americans say Trump “is a racist” and is “generally dishonest,” while 60 percent exactly say he is “mentally unfit” for the office of the president.

The poll also shows widespread support for progressive causes among this age bracket, including 60 percent who want the government to do more to fight climate change and 67 percent who want a health care system in which “the government provides health insurance to all Americans.”

Now, if we could just get more young folk to get out and vote…

Poll: Trump Drops To Historic Low 37% Approval Rating As 65% Say He’s Accomplished “Little Or Nothing”

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows Donald Trump, one year after his surprise election, has the lowest approval rating of any president at the nine-month mark going back over seventy years to 1946.

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows Donald Trump, one year after his surprise election, has the lowest approval rating of any president at the nine-month mark going back over seventy years to 1946.

Only 37% of those surveyed approve of the job Trump is doing versus 59% who disapprove. That’s a negative 22 point deficit.

The only other president to have a negative deficit in modern times at this point in their presidency was Gerald Ford, who had pardoned President Richard Nixon.

More from ABC News:

• Fifty-five percent say he’s not delivering on his major campaign promises, up sharply from 41 percent in April, at his 100-day mark.

• Views of Trump as a “strong leader” have plummeted by 13 percentage points, from 53 percent at 100 days to 40 percent today — lower than the worst rating on this question for either of his two predecessors throughout their two terms in office.

• As the president travels in Asia, a remarkable 67 percent of Americans don’t trust him to act responsibly in handling the situation involving North Korea — up 5 points from September. Also relevant to his travels, a majority, 53 percent, now says America’s leadership in the world has gotten weaker under Trump.

• Two-thirds (65 percent) also now say he’s accomplished anywhere from “not much” to “little or nothing” as president — up from 56 percent who said so after his first 100 days, and sharply contradicting the president’s own claims to be highly productive.

• Again two-thirds (66 percent) say Trump lacks the personality and temperament it takes to serve effectively as president, and essentially as many (65 percent) say he’s not honest and trustworthy.
