Uber-talented singer/songwriter Utley has famously spoken out about the negativity he experienced at the hand of the Mormon Church growing up in Utah. Thus, the”white shirt and tie” comment.
I have to say, while he’s always been a good looking guy, the more recent pic on the right is serious heat 🙂

For World AIDS Day, out singer Rod Thomas (currently touring with Elton John) has released this charity single “Everything I Ever Wanted.” From Bright Light Bright Light:
“I really wanted to do something to help raise money for World AIDS Day. I know many people who have been affected by the disease and making pop music, I don’t get to do an awful lot that feels like it helps a wider community. And while I love working in a pop world, it’s so important for me to still be connected to the real world and real people. “I hope we can raise money, and in some small way I can help to fight AIDS and to give something back to Elton to thank him for all his support of my work, by raising money for his AIDS Foundation and the excellent work he and his team do.”

New Music: Matthew Connor “Midnight Blue”
Atmospheric, melodic and moody, Matthew Connor’s newest – “Midnight Blue” – sounds and looks like it would be right at home in an episode of American Horror Story.
No “freak show” here, just haunting visuals and gorgeous vocals reminiscent of Elvis or Ray Orbison.
Quite the change up for Matthew, who spent time as the front-man for electronic dance-pop band Provocateur before heading out as a solo artist in 2011.
His latest album, Farewell Motel, follows two earlier EPs, Ghost Town and Denouement.
