• Instinct Magazine: What we know so far about the upcoming Season 2 of “Heated Rivalry,” plus some possible new characters based on Rachel Reid’s “Game Changers.” The second season is expected to arrive in April 2027.
• Gay City News: A new exhibit at the Poster House Museum in NYC – “Love & Fury: New York’s Fight Against AIDS” – documents the harrowing yet hope-infused story of the visual response to the AIDS epidemic through posters, flyers, and other graphics. • OUT: The new drama Blue Film, starring Kieron Moore (above promo photo) and Reed Birney, is officially coming to theaters in May 2026. The movie, considered too “controversial” to play in film festivals like Sundance and SXSW, tells the story of a camboy/sex worker who meets up with a disgraced former teacher.

Some news items you might have missed: • The Advocate: While overall crime rates fell by 3% in the U.S. in 2023, anti-LGBTQ+ hate crimes increased. The HRC says anti-LGBTQ+ politicians are contributing to the violence. • New Music: Katie Gavin, lead singer of MUNA, serves up an acoustic, fiddle-driven confessional, “Inconsolable,” exploring the difficulties of being open in a relationship due to being “from a long line of people we describe as inconsolable.” From the out artist’s upcoming solo album, What A Relief.
