• LGBTQ Nation: After Donald Trump repeatedly attacked VP Kamala Harris for having worked at McDonald’s as a teen, out Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg put the “McDonalds conversation” in proper focus.
If we’re really going to have to talk about McDonald’s for a couple online news cycles, then let it be about how and why Trump and the GOP oppose increasing the minimum wage, but made sure to cut taxes for McDonald’s Corporation.

• NBC News: Federal prosecutors have charged Ryan Routh, who was spotted with a gun outside of Donald Trump’s golf course with attempted assassination of a presidential candidate.
