Award-winning singer/songwriter Matt Zarley has released the trailer for his upcoming musical short film Hopeful Romantic.

HOPEFUL ROMANTIC is an original musical about one man’s emotional journey through love, heartbreak, and healing.
The unique and practically dialogue-free narrative is articulated solely through Matt Zarley’s soulful pop score.
Randy Report favorite (and 2-time Out Music Award winner) Matt Zarley shares this Whitney Houston tribute medley in his ongoing “Covered” series of music videos.

After several Whitney requests, I thought I’d start off with a tribute medley that my music director and I put together for my live shows, shortly after Whitney’s sudden death.
She was undoubtedly the biggest influence on me as a singer. She was the platinum standard… there will likely never be anyone better than she was in her prime.

Award-winning singer/songwriter Matt Zarley is currently in the middle of producing a musical short film due out next year. But he’s still recording music for fans on demand with a web series he’s called “Covered.”
Every couple of weeks he records and releases a cover song named by fans through his social media.
This week Matt invited the equally woofy Jeb Havens to join him on a duet of Pink’s “F**kin’ Perfect.” Great song, great voices all wrapped up in furry goodness. What’s not to like?
The hunky duo will be singing this LIVE in San Francisco on July 11th, in a concert event they call “Boys Life” at Beat Box. Details here.

Two-time OutMusic Award winner continues his “Covered” series with this interpretation of the Academy Award-winning song “Falling Slowly” from the film (and Tony Award-winning Broadway musical) Once.
He’s joined by fellow out Broadway artist, the gorgeous Haviland Stillwell.

Set on the (fictitious) Love Channel game show, S4E, contestants are matched up with their ideal date. This matchmaking show doesn’t discriminate and offers mates for all… be it straight, gay, lesbian, young, old, you name it.
Each episode concludes with the contestants in testimonials presenting the final results of S4E’s matchmaking magic. The results aren’t always what you may have predicted….reinforcing the sentiment that there truly is SOMEBODY for EVERYBODY.

Matt Zarley, out singer/songwriter and 2012 OutMusic Award winner for Best Album and Best Single is gearing up for his next project and he’s asking friends and fans to be involved. The woofy singer is launching a Kickstarter project in hopes of raising funds to take his next project to the next level.
From Zarley’s Kickstarter page:
I have always wanted to do an album that was purely romantic. The original concept of this album was inspired by a true love that I had experienced. I now believe in “love at first sight”, cuz I lived it. When I first started to work on this, my relationship unexpectedly ended…leaving me heartbroken and confused. Since then, I’ve uncovered truths about myself and lessons were learned. What started as a sweet valentine to the one I loved, was now becoming alot more dimensional. Though this is inspired though my own personal experience, it’s a universal story…told through an optimistic lens.
This is by far the most ambitious project I’ve conceived. With ambition, comes alot of costs. 100% of the proceeds from your pledges will go to the costs of producers, directors, editors, musicians, cinematographers, editors, publicity, and marketing. No amount is too small. If we’re fortunate enough to surpass the goal amount, the remainder of the proceeds will still go to the funding of this project. The more raised, the better the videos look…and maybe I’ll be able to do an additional song or two.
