Hottest pop star of the moment Taylor Swift accompanied biggest pop star of all time Madonna at the 2015 iHeartRadio Awards last night on Madge’s current single “Ghosttown” from Rebel Heart.
Madonna returned the favor by presenting Taylor with “Song of the Year” honors for “Shake It Off.”

Can it be that Madonna’s mega-huge hit “Vogue” is actually 25 years old?
Still one of her bestest and greatest, I always think of this song and video as what took her to another level. Yes, she was already big at the time, but “Vogue” was everywhere when it came out.
Still uber-cool.
And by the way – Madonna isn’t the only one who still has “it.” Queerty shares this video of “Vogue” video dancers Jose and Salim “Slam” Gauwloos reuniting to show they can still “strike a pose.”

Madonna sat down with Howard Stern for an extended (90 minutes!) interview regarding her new album, Rebel Heart.
This was her first ever interview with the radio legend. Over the course of an hour and a half, Madge talks on writing “Vogue” (in a couple of hours!), dating Tupac Shakur and her friendship with Michael Jackson.
She also shares that “Ghosttown” will be the next single from the album.
Madonna’s new album, Rebel Heart, was released yesterday. All her Madge-esty’s fans have gone into seclusion to absorb her newest 🙂

Speaking to Out Magazine, LGBT ally Madonna declares that the gay rights movement has surpassed the women’s rights movement:
“Gay rights are way more advanced than women’s rights. People are a lot more open-minded to the gay community than they are to women, period.
“It’s moved along for the gay community, for the African-American community, but women are still just trading on their ass. To me, the last great frontier is women.
“Women are still the most marginalized group. They’re still the group that people won’t let change.
“You’re still categorized – you’re still either a virgin or a whore. If you’re a certain age, you’re not allowed to express your sexuality, be single, or date younger men.”

The pop music world was abuzz with the news of Madonna’s headline-worthy fall from the stage of the Brit Awards last week during a performance of her new single, “Living for Love.”
But the designer of the costume, now famous for it’s wardrobe malfunction, says the fault lies with the Queen of Pop:
“Madonna, as we all know, is very difficult,” the Italian fashion designer told the AP with a smile on Feb. 27. Armani claimed Madonna, 56, was well aware of the fact that her bullfighter’s cape was constructed to be secured with a hook closure, but the singer insisted on it being tied. “That’s all there was to it,” Armani added.
But Madge has a different version of the story, shared on The Jonathan Ross Show:
“I was told to tie my cape and start much further back and I had to walk further, and everyone was worried my cape would slide off, so they tied it really tight around my neck,” Madonna told Ross. “I got to the top of the stairs and I pulled the silky string, and it wouldn’t come undone…I had two choices: I could either be strangled or fall, and I chose to fall.”
“So here I am marching in like the queen, I got to the top of the stairs and I pulled the silky string and it wouldn’t come undone,” she said. “My two lovely dancers basically strangled me off the stage.”

See the sock bit below, plus the actual promo video. The tour will begin in Miami on August 29th, then tour the US before heading to Europe, Asia and Australia (her first concerts “down under” in 20 years).
Madge’s last tour for MDNA (2012) grossed over $300 million worldwide. Before that, her Sticky & Sweet tour (2008-2009) grossed $408 million, marking the biggest tour ever for a female artist.
To help promote the tour and new album, Live Nation announced Madonna will be the special musical guest on ELLEN the entire week of March 16-20.

Madonna’s latest single – “Living For Love” – becomes her 44th number one single on the Billboard Dance chart.
This ties her with George Strait for the most #1s on a single chart (his were on the Hot Country Songs chart).
Interestingly, “Living For Love” has failed to make the Billboard Hot 100 chart for singles…
