New pics from “Magic Mike” movie

Ken (Matt Bomer), Mike (Channing Tatum), Tito (Adam Rodriguez) and Big Dick Richie (Joe Manganiello) in “Magic Mike.”

So I’m not only counting down to May 4 when Avengers hits theaters, but I’m even more excited about June 29, when Channing Tatum’s bio-pic, Magic Mike, comes out.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh (Traffic), it follows Mike (Tatum) as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money. Oh, and everyone takes their clothes off.

Warner Brothers has released  new stills from the flick, which also stars Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Joe Mangianello, Adam Rodriguez , Olivia Munn and Riley Keough.

Joe Manganiello in OUT Magazine

Joe Manganiello featured in OUT Magazine! Not only IN it but on the cover!

In the interview Joe talks about growing up, True Blood and his upcoming movie Magic Mike. Here’s a bit about the Magic Mike movie:

The strippers in Magic Mike are more the types that shake it Chippendales style for bachelorettes than gyrating go-go boys at your local gay watering hole. “This is Chan’s experience,” Manganiello says of the homoerotic, yet hetero-themed, flick.

Manganiello interviewed a former male stripper to research the era. “All the guys he worked with were dead or in rehab,” he says, “but it was the time of his life — this insanely destructive lifestyle, this club life. It was sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll… and getting paid to take your clothes off and have sex.”

When asked if he stuffed his movie G-string he just says “Um, I’ll let everybody see the movie and they can decide,” he says sheepishly.

Joe Manganiello wants Matt Bomer on “True Blood”

Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello

Most people know that Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer are two of TV’s sexiest men. But few are aware that they were college roommates.

The two men became buddies while rooming together at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (Class of 2000).

They’ve remained close friends, and worked together on the highly anticipated male (Chippendales inspired?) film, Magic Mike.

Manganiello also appeared last month on Bomer’s hit series White Collar. Now the world’s sexiest werewolf wants to see his buddy suck some neck on True Blood.

“I think Matt would make a great vampire,” Manganiello told E! Online. “He’s got the suit thing going on. He’s got that sophisticated elegant thing going on.”

Bomer says he’s totally up for some fang banging.

“I’m Team Alcide all the way, “ he said, referring to Manganiello’s character. “But if I’m going to do a guest spot on True Blood, I wanna play a vampire.”

I would love to see Bomer appear on True Blood. BUT until then, look for his duet with Darren Criss on Glee, playing Blaine’s older brother.
