• NBC News: Just hours before the deadline to file new bills for the coming legislative session, seven Republican lawmakers in Florida filed anti-LGBTQ bills late Monday. If passed, the bills would ban gender-affirming health care for transgender children, repeal municipal and county ordinances protecting LGBTQ workers, and legalize so-called gay conversion therapy in places that had banned the medically debunked practice. • AP: Ken Jennings won the “Jeopardy!” greatest-of-all-time title (and $1 million) by going all in with his 32,800 points for the Final Jeopardy round. The clue: “This area of Greece, home to Pan, is synonymous with a rural paradise; it’s a setting for Vergil’s shepherd poems the ‘Ecologues.'” And Jennings wrote the correct answer: “What is Arcadia?” • Netflix: A new fashion competition series from the streaming giant that features designers teaming up to create visionary looks that work for everyone. And The Answer is #WeLoveYouAlex
Answer: Alex Trebek being moved by a contestant who can’t win. Question: What is beautiful? When a player on today’s episode of Jeopardy realized he couldn’t win the game show, he decided to use his final Jeopardy answer to send a message of love to host Alex Trebek. Contestant Dhruv Gaur wrote “We love you, Alex” after being stumped on the answer. The hashtag #WeLoveYouAlex soon began trending on Twitter. Trebek was diagnosed earlier this year with stage 4 pancreatic cancer but has announced he has no plans to retire. He is currently undergoing a second round of chemotherapy. And he has yet to miss a show.
I was not ready for this touching moment on today’s @Jeopardy episode when a player sent a touching message. Hearing Alex Trebek’s unshakeable voice break got me. #weloveyoualex pic.twitter.com/GDsqdm0Qqm

Sorry for west coast spoilers, but I’m really glad I got the opportunity to say to Alex what everybody at the tournament was thinking … 1/n

Julia Collins makes “Jeopardy!” history with 17 wins and still going
In the eighth grade, Julia Collins predicted she would become a “Jeopardy!” champion.
Now, she’s done even more than that as she becomes the winning-est woman ever to appear on the popular TV game show.
From ABC News:
Julia Collins has racked up more wins than any other woman in “Jeopardy!” history, earning $391,600 in the process.
“I was a pretty nerdy kid,” Collins says. “I liked to shout out the answers to the TV like everybody else does.”
Collins, 31, a resident of the Chicago suburb of Wilmette, made history when she won her 17th straight game Tuesday, and then added another victory Wednesday.
Only past contestants Ken Jennings (74) and David Madden (19) have won more consecutive non-tournament games than this. The show premiered 50 years ago.
