Trump Nation: Jerk Uses U.S. Flag As Picnic Blanket, T-Shirt Says “I Stand For The National Anthem”

This pic from Sunday’s Jets/Patriots game is currently going viral as this douchebag wearing a t-shirt that says “I stand for the National Anthem” as he sits on the flag like a beach towel.

On top of the fact that we were taught to never let the flag touch the ground, the asshole is SITTING his ass on the flag!

Adding to the assholery is he seems to drink beer with a straw. #Embarrassing #ManUp #WhoDrinksBeerThroughAStraw

This man at Sunday’s Patriots-Jets game respects the United States and its national anthem so much that he turned the country’s flag into a picnic blanket. Reader Marshall spotted the patriot, who is better than all of us, at the Jets’ stadium.

“Basically, me and my friend were walking around the stadium sometime during the 3rd quarter. There is a huge tv screen by the food carts right inside the stadium where people gather to watch. We went over there to check it out and we saw him spread the flag out and sit down.”

So, in case I haven’t been clear (and I know my readers may not be accustomed to this language from me)  – Get your f*cking ass off my flag!

Donald Trump’s 72nd Day At A Golf Course

Kyle Griffin, a producer for MSNBC’s The Last Word, keeps a running tally of Donald Trump’s golf days.

Today’s report: “Per pool, Trump has arrived at Trump Nat’l Golf Club in VA. This is his 72nd day at a golf club, 92nd day at a Trump property as president.”

I realize a lot of folks may not care about Trump golfing, but given his voluminous tweets raging about President Obama playing golf during his 8 years as prez, it’s interesting to note the hypocrisy.

In addition to railing about golf, citizen Trump also ranted about Obama going anywhere. As a candidate, Trump told his followers he’d probably never leave the White House because there was too much work to do.

Anti-Abortion Congressman Tim Murphy Resigns After Urging Mistress To Abort During Pregnancy Scare

Virulently anti-abortion, anti-LGBT and hypocritical pro-family values Congressman Tim Murphy of Pennsylvania has resigned after text messages revealed he had an extramarital affair.

Further, when his mistress believed she was pregnant with his child, he apparently urged her to seek an abortion.

Text messages revealed earlier this week showed the woman with whom Murphy is having an extra-marital affair told Murphy, “you have zero issue posting your pro-life stance all over the place when you had no issue asking me to abort our unborn child just last week when we thought that was one of the options,” according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Responding to the message, Rep. Murphy said: “I get what you say about my March for life messages. I’ve never written them. Staff does them. I read them and winced. I told staff don’t write any more. I will.”

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan issued a statement today which read, in part, “This afternoon I received a letter of resignation from Congressman Tim Murphy, effective October 21. It was Dr. Murphy’s decision to move on to the next chapter of his life, and I support it.”

Murphy will leave office on October 21.

The governor of Pennsylvania cannot appoint a replacement, and so a special election will have to be called.

While possible, it’s highly unlikely a Democrat would win the seat since the district is considered solidly red.

Pro-Life Congressman Asked His Mistress To Get An Abortion

Well, well, well. It’s always so interesting when we come across hypocritical “pro-life” politicians who vote against pro-choice rights but seek remedies like abortion for their own life events.

In newly obtained documents, anti-abortion (and anti-LGBT) Rep. Tim Murphy asked his mistress to terminate a pregnancy this year even as he was putting out anti-abortion political positions.

According to documents obtained by the Post-Gazette, Shannon Edwards—a Pittsburgh woman exactly half Murphy’s age with whom he recently admitted to having an extramarital affair—texted Murphy in January about a possible pregnancy that turned out to be just a scare. “You have zero issue posting your pro-life stance all over the place when you had no issue asking me to abort our unborn child just last week when we thought that was one of the options,” she said, referring to a post from Murphy’s professional Facebook account that accused America of “discarding and disregarding the most vulnerable” for allowing abortions past 20 weeks’ gestation.

“I get what you say about my March for life messages,” Murphy responded. “I’ve never written them. Staff does them. I read them and winced. I told staff don’t write any more. I will.”

Such a paragon of virtue.

In addition to opposing any pro-choice positions, Murphy voted against LGBT legislation like the the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act and the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.

And what did he vote for? A constitutional ban on same-sex marriage.

With  a 100% rating from the Family Research Council it’s not surprising to know he has a 0% rating from the Human Rights Campaign.

Anti-Gay Republican Rep. Tim Murphy Admits To Adultery

Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa.) – who voted against the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, against the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act, against the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, and for a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage – admitted on Thursday to having an extramarital affair.

Because hypocrisy.

Via The Hill:

“Last year I became involved in an affair with a personal friend. This is nobody’s fault but my own, and I offer no excuses. To the extent that there should be any blame in this matter, it falls solely upon me,” Murphy said in a statement released by his lawyer.

Murphy confirmed the affair after the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette was granted a court order to unseal the divorce action of the other couple involved.

While Murphy is not a party in the divorce action, the husband of the woman with whom he was having an affair sought to depose him in July, according to the Post-Gazette.

Trump To Spend 3 Weeks Vacationing At His New Jersey Golf Club

Just this past Wednesday, President Trump told Republican Senators that health care reform is so important, “We have to stay here. We shouldn’t leave town, and we should hammer this out and get it done.”

Well, “we” somehow didn’t include the Trumpster himself.

News outlets are now reporting Trump plans to spend a whopping 3 weeks in Bedminster, New Jersey, beginning August 3rd.

Trump will be staying at his golf resort there (more money for his business, don’t you know) after “slaving” for six months as president.

Today was his 41st day at a golf course as president. Just saying…

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Resort Asks To Hire More Foreign Employees

I’m sorry, but this should really make all Americans who are concerned about jobs in the U.S. mad.

According to The Hill, Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort has asked the federal government to be allowed to hire 70 foreign employees.

And I’m not talking high-end, high-training jobs.

We’re talking cooks, housekeepers and servers.

The jobs would begin on Oct. 1 and end in May 2018, according to the filings. Those positions would take advantage of the H-2B visa program, which allows U.S. employers to bring foreign nations to the country for temporary, nonagricultural work.

The Trump National Golf Course in Jupiter, Fla., also filed a request to hire temporary foreign workers as cooks for the same period of time.

The requests came as the White House celebrates what it has designated “Made in America Week,” highlighting American-made products and re-upping the administration’s emphasis on bringing jobs back to the U.S.

Employers must establish that there are not enough American workers able or willing to fill the temporary positions in order to qualify for H-2B classification.

The cook positions at both Mar-a-Lago and the golf course pay $13.34 per hour, according to the filings. The server jobs pay $11.88 per hour, while the housekeeping positions pay $10.33 per hour.

As a presidential candidate and in his first six months in office, Trump touted the importance of U.S. manufacturing and labor and savaged international trade agreements, saying they have killed American jobs.

It is impossible to believe that there are not 70 people in the Palm Beach area who couldn’t (or wouldn’t) fill jobs for servers or housekeepers.

How this fits into Trump’s “Buy American, Hire American” theme makes no sense.

Trump spent the 2016 campaign railing against lost American jobs. He can personally hire 70 Americans right now.
