Hillary Clinton Will Launch Book Tour To Promote New Memoir “What Happened”

Hillary Clinton will promote her new memoir, What Happened, via a book tour across the United States and Canada this fall.

According to publisher Simon & Schuster, “She’ll connect with audiences with a story that’s personal, raw, detailed, and surprisingly funny. She’ll take you with her on her journey and talk about HAPPENED, what’s next, and what’s on your mind.”

News site Axios notes that the book tour schedule has Hillary back in Wisconsin exactly one year and one day after the 2016 election. She’ll be stopping in Michigan and Pennsylvania, too.

Hillary Clinton: “My Skin Crawled” As Trump Was “Literally Breathing Down My Neck” At Debate

Hillary Clinton has released audio clips from her new book, What Happened, wherein she reflects on the 2016 campaign.

In one clip she says her “skin crawled” during last October’s second presidential debate when Donald Trump followed closely behind her, practically stalking her, as she spoke.

“My skin crawled,” Clinton says in her memoir. “It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, ‘Well, what would you do?'”

“Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren’t repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye and say loudly and clearly, ‘Back up you creep, get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can’t intimidate me, so back up.’”

Hillary Clinton Strongly Denounces White Supremacists’ Violence In Charlottesville

After the violent turmoil erupted at the nazi rally today in Charlottesville, Virginia, Hillary Clinton issued this statement via Twitter:

My heart is in Charlottesville today, and with everyone made to feel unsafe in their country. But the incitement of hatred that got us here is as real and condemnable as the white supremacists in our streets. Every minute we allow this to persist through tacit encouragement or inaction is a disgrace, & corrosive to our values. Now is the time for leaders to be strong in their words & deliberate in their actions. We will not step backward. If this is not who we are as Americans, let’s prove it.

At least someone knows what clear leadership looks like.

The GOP Asks Hillary Clinton “Where’s Your (Healthcare) Plan?” And She Was Ready

In spite of the fact that Donald Trump and the Republicans are in control of both houses of Congress and the White House, after 7 years of bluffing and puffing about “repeal and replacing” Obamacare, Team GOP has no healthcare plan ready to go. Nothing.

The past six months were the “honeymoon” and they’ve got zilch to show for it.

So, today, the GOP tried deflecting to others. Here’s a tweet where they called out Hillary Clinton (why her? she lost the election) asking where her plan was.

Never fear, cause Hillary’s here. And, she’s prepared:

And the Twitterverse ate it up:

Hillary Clinton: I Thought Covfefe Was A Hidden Message To The Russians

Speaking at the 2017 CodeCon Tech Conference, Hillary Clinton was asked about Donald Trump’s late night tweets, in particular last night’s lulu: “Despite the constant negative press covfefe.”

Hillary took a guess wondering aloud, “I thought it was a hidden message to the Russians.”

When it was pointed out that Sean Spicer had said that only Trump and a small number of people knew the meaning of the word, Hillary immediately understood the scenario. “Ah, the small group explanation,” Clinton said. “You don’t have a high enough classification to know what covfefe means.”

An audience member asked what Hillary might know about the Trumpster since she attended his wedding, she said, “I was never even a social friend. It was kind of a lark to attend his third wedding…” (sly emphasis on the word “third” was hers).

All quite light-hearted, and then she became a bit more serious about citizens getting more involved in politics and more voices pushing back against the lies and “alternative facts” being inserted into the public arena.

Hillary Clinton: “I Won’t Lie. Chardonnay Helped A Little, Too”

Lord knows I don’t need another reason to support Hillary Clinton. I’ve said for years “she’s my girl.”

But catch this very human laugh line she dropped yesterday speaking at her alma mater, Wellesley College.

Joking about walks in the woods and organizing her closet, Hillary included one more coping mechanism:

“I won’t lie. Chardonnay helped a little, too.”

More wine!
