Senate Republicans are digging in their heels saying there will be no votes on any Supreme Court nominee to replace Antonin Scalia because “there’s not enough time?”

Marco Rubio Blames The Media For His Fifth Place Showing In New Hampshire Primary

After finishing a disappointing fifth place in the New Hampshire Republican primary last night, Sen. Marco Rubio blamed the media for his crushing loss.

Appearing on Fox News today, Rubio said that because the media did it’s job and reported on, among other things, his “crash and burn” performance at the GOP debate Saturday night, folks didn’t want to vote for him.

Via Politico:

“What happened is obviously Saturday night the debate went the way it went, and then just the media coverage over the last 72 hours was very negative about it and so forth,” Rubio said Wednesday on “Fox & Friends.” “So the last thing voters heard going into the booth yesterday was, you know, something bad happened Saturday night. And so it made it very difficult for us to get any other message across.”

Rubio was excoriated following Saturday’s debate after Chris Christie called the Florida senator out for his “memorized 25-second speech” — a line Rubio used several times in the debate about how President Barack Obama “knows exactly what he’s doing” and vowed to keep using on the trail despite the harsh criticism.

Many have predicted that last night may be the beginning of the end of Rubio’s career in elective politics. He has stated he does not plan on running for reelection for the U.S. Senate this fall.

Candidates Flub Their Entrances At GOP Debate

At last night’s GOP debate, Dr. Ben Carson didn’t hear his name called, so he missed his entrance for the event, causing a “candidate pile up” in the wings.

The best moment is when Sen. Marco Rubio doesn’t hesitate to lap the two chaps ahead of him.

Donald Trump Goes All Sore Loser After Iowa Loss

I think we were all struck by how gracious Donald Trump was Monday night after coming in second in the Iowa Caucuses. I was wondering “who is this guy?”

Good to know Trumpster has reverted back to the guy we all know as he whines on Twitter today that Ted Cruz “stole” votes.

Trump is now calling for a “do over” in Iowa. I’ll let you know how that turns out.

Donald Trump: ‘Knock the Crap Out’ of Protesters, ‘I Will Pay For The Legal Fees ‘

I was driving home, listening to MSNBC, when I heard this live. Dumbfounded.

What a classy guy the Trumpster is.

At a rally Monday afternoon in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Donald Trump told a crowd of supporters that if they happened to see protesters getting ready to lob a tomato, they should “knock the crap out of them.” Trump began his speech by noting that he had received a warning from the “wonderful security guys.”

He said: “There may be somebody with tomatoes in the audience. So if you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them, would you? Seriously. Okay? Just knock the hell— I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise, I promise. It won’t be so much ’cause the courts agree with us too.”
