Stephen Colbert: “The Gay Civil War”
In light of the recent SCOTUS decision not to review anti-gay marriage bans, Stephen Colbert has seen the future.
He sees GOP Speaker of the House John Boehner campaigning for gay Republican candidate Carl DeMaio; a majority of Americans living in marriage equality states, and anti-gay groups like NOM fighting the clear future.
And as such, here he shares with us, “The Gay Civil War.”
Jerry Seinfeld Mocks Advertising As He Wins Clio Award
The 55th annual CLIO Awards, the most prestigious international advertising awards, were held in NYC this past week.
In his own unimitable fashion, Jerry Seinfeld mocks the advertising industry as he picks up his honorary Clio Award:
“I think spending your lives trying to dupe innocent people out of hard-won earnings to buy useless, low-quality, misrepresented items and services is an excellent use of your energy.”
SNL: How Much Would It Take For a Straight Guy To Go Down On Another Guy?
So, while working on other posts the past couple of days, I’ve seen this circling the internet.
It’s actually funnier than I imagined and I like how SNL’s “resident young guy Pete Davidson” handles his “report” on the purported question: “How much money would you go down on a guy for?”
He’s very straight-forward on the reality of the proposition – “I’m not gay. I’m a businessman.”
Davidson says even if he was on a boat, and the boat was his – he’d still do the deed for a few thousand. Why? “A boat needs fuel.”
Plus, such funds could pay for Thanksgiving dinner. OR – cover taking the family to Six Flags and spring for the “Flash pass.”
Logic. There you go.

Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt explains the story behind his first “Hollywood headshot” (where Pratt refers to himself as “Douchemaster McChest”) to Jimmy Fallon.
Interesting story – halfway through you think it’s gonna go a little sideways; could have been some “friendly-photographer” shenanigans, but life works out for Mr. Pratt.
