Kickstarter project: Man-candy & Cupcakes

Now, HOW could I not post this? A Kickstarter project with brawn and cupcakes!

From the Kickstarter page:

Man Candy and Cupcakes will bring brawn to baking.

It will feature scrumptious recipes for mouthwatering cupcakes brought to you by the world’s sexiest bakers. We need money for styling, expert photography and design, not to mention whipped cream and snug-fitting boxer shorts.

We believe that there is nothing sexier than a man in the kitchen, particularly if he has a packed pantry, and we are counting on you to help us prove it.

Please give us some dough so we can get rolling!

Best friends – seal and dolphin

Ok, I’ll admit I always wanted a pet seal or dolphin as a friend growing up.

Miri the seal and Jet the dolphin have become the best of friends at the Coffs Harbour Pet Porpoise Pool in Australia.

The adorable pair has been inseparable since they were two months old, playing games – including tag, where they take turns chasing each other.

Broadway’s ANYTHING GOES celebrates it’s closing today – living the “Good Life”

From the cast of the Broadway revival of ANYTHING GOES which closes today at the Stephen Sondheim Theater in NYC.

This is a great answer to the question “what’s it like performing on Broadway?”

Besides being able to live the dream of appearing on Broadway, the camaraderie and sense of family can be amazing. Take a look. This tells a great story.

Congratulations to all on a successful journey.

From the YouTube notes: ANYTHING GOES opened at the Stephen Sondheim Theater on April 7, 2011 and closed on July 8, 2012. From Rehearsals, to Sitz Probe, to Tony Awards, to all the backstage craziness, it has been a pleasure sailing on the SS American with this amazing cast & crew.

A different version of “Big Spender”

Working on SWEET CHARITY, including the iconic “Big Spender” number with a great cast of ladies, here in Oklahoma City. But with the show staged now, I was remembering of another version of the song thanks to the men of Chippendales at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Nice to see things from different perspectives sometimes 🙂

Abercrombie Fitch models lip-dub “Call Me Maybe”

In October of 2011, Abercrombie & Fitch discovered Carly Rae’s ‘Call Me Maybe’ and launched the song on its official soundtrack.

To celebrate the song’s Summer popularity, A&F asked its hottest guys from its Flagship stores all around the world to have fun with the song—film it on their phones and to do whatever came naturally…

I can imagine some folks may be tired of the song by now, but I actually still like it. Probably because I never listen to the radio 🙂
