Rape Investigation Of FL GOP Chair Expands To ‘Video Voyeurism’
In the last weeks of 2023, Florida GOP Chairman Christian Ziegler and his wife Bridget found themselves mired in controversy after a woman with whom the Zieglers had previously had sexual three-ways accused Christian of rape. During a November 2 police interview, Ziegler provided video footage he took of the sexual encounter with his accuser. He claims it proves he didn’t “rape” her. But the video is now backfiring on the GOP chair as police say he may have violated state law prohibiting video voyeurism (recording another person without their consent), a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Florida GOP Chairman Accused Of Sexual Battery By 3-Way Lover
Christian Ziegler, Florida’s GOP chairman, is under criminal investigation after a woman filed a complaint with the Sarasota Police Department alleging the longtime Republican official had raped her. Ziegler is married to Bridget Ziegler, a Sarasota County School Board member and co-founder of the virulently anti-LGBTQ group, Moms of Liberty. The accuser says she and both Zieglers had been involved in a consensual three-way sexual relationship before the alleged assault.
