Ford Motor Company Announces Donald Trump Had Nothing To Do With Factory Plans

Ford Motor Company has issued a press statement debunking the myth Donald Trump has begun spreading in his stump speeches where he “takes credit” for Ford changing plans about building a plant in Mexico.

“Ford has not spoken with Mr. Trump, nor have we made any changes to our plans.

“We decided to move the F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks to Ohio Assembly in 2011, long before any candidates announced their intention to run for U.S. President.

“We are proud that Ford has invested $10.2 billion in our U.S. plants since 2011 and hired nearly 25,000 U.S. employees.

“Overall, more than 80 percent of our North American investment annually is in the U.S., and 97 percent of our North American engineering is conducted in the U.S.”

Oh – of course, this was all before she began to run for prez.

How quickly they turn.

Very effective ad in that it literally uses their own words (Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and Donald Trump) from not long ago.

Donald Trump Would Eliminate Dept Of Education and Environmental Protections

Appearing on Fox News’ “Fox News Sunday,” Donald Trump goes over a litany of controversial things he’s said on the campaign trail: eliminating the Department of Education, eliminating environmental protections, putting the responsibility of 9/11 on George W. Bush and more.

Wallace: “Would you cut services? Would you cut departments?”

Trump: “No, I’m not cutting services, but I’m cutting spending. But I may cut Department of Education. I believe Common Core is a very bad thing. I believe that we should be — you know, educating our children from Iowa, from New Hampshire, from South Carolina, from California, from New York. I think that it should be local education. So the Department of Education is one. Environmental Protection, what they do is a disgrace. Every week they come out with new regulations. They’re making it impossible —”

Wallace: “Who’s going to protect the environment?”

Trump: “We’ll be fine with the environment. We can leave a little bit, but you can’t destroy businesses.”

Donald Trump Goes After Mitt Romney After Romney Says Trump Won’t Be GOP Nominee

GOP front runner Donald Trump was not happy about comments Mitt Romney, the 2012 GOP nominee for president, made on his campaign.

Speaking to Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Romney said he didn’t think Trump would be the GOP nominee. When CNN “State of the Union” host Jake Tapper inquired if Romney would vote for Trump, Romney was vague.

“I would vote for the nominee of the Republican party and I don’t believe that’s going to be Donald Trump,” he said.

And with that came Trump’s Twitter fury….

Jeb Bush Attacks Donald Trump On Military Judgement

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush goes after GOP front runner – HARD.

We’ll see if this has any effect on the race.

The clip is the latest salvo in the Bush-Trump rivalry, which has often been marked by bitter and personal exchanges between the two prominent Republican presidential candidates. On Friday, Trump suggested Bush’s brother, former President George W. Bush, shared in the blame for the 9/11 terrorist attacks because they occurred during his presidency.

Saturday’s round centered on a video set to the tune of circus music that highlights comments from Trump that have called into question his grasp of military matters. Many of Trump’s most controversial moments are presented, including his questioning of John McCain’s status as a war hero to his inability to name prominent terrorists.

The clip also points out that Trump — who is shown in the clip claiming that “there’s nobody bigger or better at the military than I am” — received deferments to avoid military service during the Vietnam War. There’s also a snippet of a 2007 interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in which he says Hillary Clinton “would do a good job” negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran.

Donald Trump Goes After Jeb & George Bush On 9/11 Attacks

This little trifle began with an interview Donald Trump did earlier this week with Bloomberg.

Trump said, “When you talk about George Bush – I mean, say what you want, the World Trade Center came down during his time…He was president, OK? … Blame him or don’t blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign.”

Donald Trump Wins In His Debate Demands To CNBC

Yesterday, Carson and Trump informed CNBC in a letter that the length of the debate should be restricted.

A letter from both front runners’ campaign read, “Neither Mr. Trump or Dr. Carson will participate in your debate if it is longer than 120 minutes including commercials and does not include opening and closing statements.”

Trump complained that CNN’s three hour length was “milking” the debate so CNN could sell more ads.

As you can see from Trump’s tweet this morning, CNBC bowed to his wishes.

Other candidates, like Carly Fiorina, pushed for more time saying with 10 candidates it’s hard to get any appreciable exposure.

Donald Trump tweets that he plans on trolling the Democratic debate on Twitter tonight.

He later congratulated himself on how “everyone’s talking” about his plan.

Lord, what an ego.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and current Dem front-runner Hillary Clinton trolled back a bit herself 🙂

Sen. Ted Cruz: Donald Trump Isn’t Going To Be GOP Nominee

Sen. Ted Cruz, who recently started showing a little bit of life in the polls following the Republican candidates for the 2016 presidential nomination, recently told WABC’s Rita Cosby that Donald Trump won’t be his party’s nominee for prez.

“I think that’s right. I think in time I don’t believe Donald is going to be the nominee and I think in time the lion’s share of his supporters end up with us,” the freshman senator predicted. “And I think the reason is what I was just saying, that if you look to the records of all the Republican candidates there’s a big difference between my record and that of everyone else if you ask, who has stood up to Washington?

“And I’ll note, you know I think the most beneficial thing Donald Trump’s involvement in the race has been, I think his involvement has been tremendously helpful to my campaign, because it’s framed the central question of this primary. As who will stand up to Washington? And if that’s the central question, the natural next question, that any voter will ask is okay, well who actually has stood up to Washington? Who has a record in that regard?” he asked.

I think it’s sweet that Cruz appreciates Trump’s “involvement” in the campaign.

Recent history has shown that making such statements places you in The Donald’s crosshairs.

Donald Trump Will Host SNL November 7th

Donald Trump tweeted the news that he will host Saturday Night Live on November 7th. He’s hosted before, but over a decade ago in April 2004.

Remember when NBC severed ties with The Donald over his immigration statements?

How quickly things change. Do we call this a “flip flop?”

UPDATE: Fox News’ Shep Smith was thinking the very same thing I was, it seems. Although, Smith got a lot more worked up about this than I did.

“Nice job, NBC,” Smith said. “You made a stand! You stood for your values! You did what you must! Forget the money, no more Trump, except… more Trump! You did a great job. We’re all proud of you, NBC.”
