Donald Trump Stares Down Protester Wearing “KKK Endorses Trump” T-Shirt

Donald Trump’s failure to respond to questions about his support coming from David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan landed front and center again today as the Trumpster had a tense face to face moment with a protester wearing a t-shirt saying “KKK endorses Trump.”

From CNN:

A protester in the seats behind Trump on Friday lifted a sign that read “Islamophobia is not the answer.”

But even after a Trump supporter ripped the sign away, the man lingered not far from Trump’s stage.

Waiting for security, police or staff to spring into action, Trump paced the stage and came close to the man, who had removed a jacket to reveal a shirt with the words “KKK endorses Trump” and a yellow star reminiscent of those worn by Jews during the Holocaust on his chest.

The two appeared to exchange words as Trump walked closer to the man, but Trump quickly walked back toward his podium and continued pacing the stage.

The man was eventually escorted out of the room, blowing kisses along the way in Trump’s direction and toward supporters in the audience who loudly booed the man.

“In the good old days, they’d rip him out of that seat so fast, but today everybody is politically correct — our country’s going to hell for being politically correct,” Trump said, as the man was whisked away after a few minutes.

“The police: they’re afraid to move. They’re afraid to move,” Trump added. “We are really becoming a frightened country.”

The Donald has given conflicting answers in regards to disavowing David Duke and white supremacy groups.

Trump continues to decry the First Amendment which gives Americans freedom of expression. Trump likes “free speech” as long as it applies to him.

How do you become the president when you openly talk about squelching free speech?

New CNN/ORC Poll Shows Both Democratic Candidates Beat Donald Trump

New polling from CNN/ORC shows both Democratic candidates for president, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton & Sen. Bernie Sanders, would beat current Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

From CNN:

In the scenario that appears most likely to emerge from the primary contests, Clinton tops Trump 52% to 44% among registered voters. That result has tilted in Clinton’s favor since the last CNN/ORC Poll on the match-up in January.

But when the former secretary of state faces off with either of the other two top Republicans, things are much tighter and roughly the same as they were in January. Clinton trails against Rubio, with 50% choosing the Florida senator compared to 47% for Clinton, identical to the results in January. Against Cruz, Clinton holds 48% to his 49%, a slight tightening from a 3-point race in January to a 1-point match-up now.

Sanders — who enjoys the most positive favorable rating of any presidential candidate in the field, according to the poll — tops all three Republicans by wide margins: 57% to 40% against Cruz, 55% to 43% against Trump, and 53% to 45% against Rubio. Sanders fares better than Clinton in each match-up among men, younger voters and independents.

Ted Cruz’ Supporters Say They Can’t Vote For Trump

The Daily Beast interviewed several supporters of Sen. Ted Cruz who insist they can’t see themselves voting for Donald Trump in the general election, should he become the Republican nominee.

“There is so much garbage out there about Trump,” 81-year-old Betty Marquardt told The Daily Beast. “If it would only come out, I think Trump would be sort of scary. He’ll say one thing and then he’ll say something else. He’s not even sure how many years he’s been audited. It depends on where he is as to what he wants to say and how he wants to say it.”

Marquardt, who like many Cruz supporters at the event said their second choice would be Marco Rubio before this reporter was even able to finish asking the question, called Trump “childish” and said he calls people names too much.

Cruz fans painted a picture of Trump as manipulative, phony, and opportunistic, none of which inspire confidence in scary times.

“I think he’s a good actor and knows how to work the deal, pardon the pun,” Sathre said.

“I just don’t think he has morals,” 37-year-old Christine Stevens told The Daily Beast. She has already made a decision in the foreseeable general-election matchup.

“Honestly I would rather see Hillary Clinton in than Donald Trump.”

Donald Trump Refuses To Distance Himself From Former KKK Leader David Duke

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump saw his racist comments of several months now come home to roost this week as former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke gave the Trumpster a full-throated endorsement.

When asked about the endorsement, however, Trump refused to condemn Duke or the KKK.

CNN “State of the Union” host Jake Tapper asked Trump if he would “unequivocally condemn David Duke and say you don’t want his support.”

Trump dodged the question.

“I don’t know anything about David Duke,” he said. “I don’t know what you’re even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacist. I don’t know. I don’t know, did he endorse me, or what’s going on? Because, you know, I know nothing about David Duke. I know nothing about white supremacists. And so you’re asking me a question that I’m supposed to be talking about people that I know nothing about.”

Tapper pushed back. Trump suggested Tapper send him a list of “the groups” and he could research them. At which point, Trump said he would “disavow if I thought there was something wrong.”

“The Ku Klux Klan?” Tapper asked.

“It would be very unfair,” Trump continued talking over Tapper. “So give me a list of the groups and I’ll let you know.”

“I’m just talking about David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan here,” Tapper said.

“Honestly, I don’t know David Duke,” Trump said. “I don’t believe I’ve ever met him, I’m pretty sure I didn’t meet him, and I just don’t know anything about him.”

While today Trump said he didn’t know anything about Duke or the KKK, on Friday he was asked about the endorsement and a the time he said he “disavows” the support.

Former President Of Mexico Compares Donald Trump To Hitler

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox doubled down on his criticism of Republican front-runner Donald Trump, this time saying the Trumpster reminds him of Adolf Hitler.

From CNN:

“Today, he’s going to take that nation (U.S.) back to the old days of conflict, war and everything. I mean, he reminds me of Hitler. That’s the way he started speaking,” Fox told CNN’s Anderson Cooper in a phone interview on “Anderson Cooper 360.”

“He has offended Mexico, Mexicans, (and) immigrants. He has offended the Pope. He has offended the Chinese. He’s offended everybody.”

Fox’s comments come one day after he delivered a scathing response on Trump’s plan to make Mexico pay for a wall between the Mexico-U.S. border.

“I’m not going to pay for that f***ing wall,” Fox said in an interview with Fusion’s Jorge Ramos.

Fox isn’t the first to compare The Donald to Hitler. Several pundits across political media point to Trump’s divisive rhetoric and note what they say are similarities to the methods Hitler used during his rise to power in Germany.

Marco Rubio: “Donald Trump Is A Con Artist”

I personally agree with Sen. Marco Rubio.

But, given how these things play out, how does Rubio u-turn and support Trump in a general election after this? Because that is what will be expected of him.
