Donald Trump Goes Full Twitter Rant On His Own Party

Donald Trump unleashed a torrent of Twitter attacks on his own party today, specifically House Speaker Paul Ryan for effectively cutting him loose and accusing party leaders of trying to sabotage his campaign.

The attack virtually splinters his party and followers as he heads into the last few weeks of the race for the White House.

“Donald Trump is like a wounded animal in the forest just thrashing out at anything in his field of vision. He’s unhinged,” said Ryan Williams, a former spokesman for 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

He added: “Any loyalty to the party he may have had is gone. He’s never really been a team player. It’s clear he does not care about the Republican party or anyone else who is running on the ballot this year. This is all about Donald Trump.”

Most recent national polls show Trump’s standing heading south, and his path to 270 electoral votes getting more and more narrow.

Donald Trump: I’ve Never Had A Gay Thought In My Life

As journalists go in search of any remaining “smoking guns” that may exist in Donald Trump’s past, CNN’s KFiles team found this clip from an appearance on the Howard Stern Show where Trump boldly announces he’s never had a “gay thought” in his life.

Yay! We really dodged that bullet!

In the clip below from 2010 (starting near the 1:32 mark), the two men discussed golf champion Tiger Woods’ extra-marital affairs. Of them, Trump noted, “One thing we’ve learned about Tiger Woods, definitely, he is not gay,” to which Stern agreed, “Absolutely not gay.”

Trump then reminded Stern of “one of the great interviews of all time” that the radio host had done with a man who said “he only had one or two events with a man but that he wasn’t gay and you said, ‘Anyone who’s had one or two events with a man is gay.’” Stern replied, “Absolutely!” before asking Trump how many “events” he’s had with a man.

“Zero,” Trump says. “Not even a thought.”

Trump continued, “With all that I’ve had, I’ve never had a thought,” and then added, “there’s never been a big thought process, you know… Never even like a thought… let’s put it this way, during ‘the event’ there’s never a thought of Jimmy or Ronald or any of that, no. No thoughts.”

Paul Ryan Tells Congressional Republicans He Will Not Defend Donald Trump For Remainder Of Election

On a Republican party conference call of Congress members, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan informed his fellow GOPers that he will not spend the next 29 days defending Donald Trump, nor will he campaign with the Republican presidential candidate.

Ryan told members of Congress on a conference call Monday that they “all need to do what’s best for you in your district,” according to someone on the call. Ryan said he wouldn’t campaign with Trump for the rest of the election, but added that he wouldn’t withdraw his endorsement of the GOP nominee.

“He made clear to members that his decisions are being driven by what is best for his members, not himself,” the source on the call said. “He is willing to endure political pressure to help protect our majority.”

Ryan seems to be suggesting that he would unendorse Trump if he were on his own. But he’s also signaling that he sees a negative down-ballot impact for Republicans if he were to pull his support.

The conference call was held after a leaked video revealed that Trump had, in 2005, bragged about groping and kissing women without their consent. Amid a steady stream of Republicans unendorsing Trump, many party members are questioning whether they, too, should withdraw their support from the nominee and risk angering Trump’s base and depressing GOP turnout even more. Not unendorsing means forever associating yourself with Trump and telling voters that Trump’s behavior is still acceptable.

What Was Donald Trump’s Odd “Lurking” Behavior About At The Presidential Debate?

One thing I noticed during last night’s presidential debate was Donald Trump’s odd trailing of Hillary Clinton.

At one point during Hillary Clinton’s answer to a question about Obamacare, he wandered into her personal space in what appeared to be an attempt to intimidate Clinton. And stayed there.

When Clinton made herself available to reporters on her campaign plane after the debate, she was asked if she could tell that Donald Trump “was standing right behind her,” during her answer to a question about Obamacare. Clinton responded that she could, and that Trump “was very present.”

“It was a very small space,” Clinton said of Trump’s proximity. “And I tried to give him space whenever he was talking to people. I would go back and you know, lean up against my stool. But he was very present.”

Donald Trump Hosts Panel Of Bill Clinton “Accusers” Before 2nd Debate

Just hours before he takes the stage for the 2nd presidential debate, he held a press event flanked by women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual abuse decades ago.

This is wild, political drama, folks.

Donald Trump thinks he can defend his own boorish behavior by taking folks back decades.

It’s notable that President Clinton was impeached and found innocent back in the 90s.

The woman in the center of the above pic, Juanita Broaddrick, who initially accused Bill Clinton of a rape that she said occurred in 1978, but went on to sign an affidavit swearing no such event ever happened.

Years later, she recanted that affidavit.

How all of this relates to Hillary Clinton’s ability to serve as president I don’t know.

Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain” Featured In New Campaign Ad About Donald Trump

Carly Simon herself gave permission to use her 70s hit song, “You’re So Vain,” in a campaign spot that highlights the dangerous vanity and narcissism of Donald Trump.

She even rerecorded one line of the song, changing “your scarf, it was apricot,” to the new version of the song which now goes, “your face, it was apricot.”
