Report: Shots Fired At Trump Rally
Donald Trump was escorted off the stage at a campaign rally this afternoon in Butler, Pennsylvania, after a series of popping sounds were heard. Trump quickly jumped to the ground and was covered by Secret Service agents. UPDATE: CNN reports the shooter was killed by the Secret Service. One spectator at the rally was also killed. If you go back and review Donald Trump’s time in the White House, you see a lot of turnover in high-level positions like chief of staff, Secretary of Defense, or Secretary of State. Much of that turnover came about because initially Trump didn’t know anything about being president, so he appointed people based on GOP recommendations. But we heard many reports that those experienced individuals would push back on some ideas or orders from Trump they knew were bad or outside the scope of a president’s authority. And thus – exit stage right. Today, Trump frequently tells campaign crowds he plans a much different approach if re-elected. AND his top priority in appointments will be loyalty.
