Trump Lies About Voter Fraud Again: In California Millions Vote Many Times

Speaking to a crowd in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, Trump told attendees that in California “the same person votes many times,” reviving his oft-repeated lie about voter fraud.

“In many places, like California, the same person votes many times. You probably heard about that. They always like to say ‘oh that’s a conspiracy theory,’” Trump said. “Not a conspiracy theory, folks. Millions and millions of people. And it’s very hard because the state guards their records. They don’t want to see it.”

Trump went on to congratulate West Virginia’s because “You were with me from Day One.”

It does without saying that there have been many investigations into voter fraud and not one study has found anything close to “massive voter fraud.”

Poll Of 97,000 Americans Shows Trump Approval Drops To Record Low

Donald Trump may have thought his “yuuuuge tax cuts” legislation would make it popular, but he’s actually dropped in terms of job approval according to Morning Consult to the lowest point of his presidency.

The latest Morning Consult poll, surveying over 97,000 Americans across all 50 states, puts his approval at just 41%.

The new data — compiled from surveys conducted March 1 to March 31 among 97,693 registered voters in every state and Washington, D.C. — shows 41 percent of registered voters approving and 54 percent disapproving of Trump’s job performance, surpassing previous monthly lows from October and November, when 42 percent approved and 53 percent took the opposing view.

This marks a 4-point net decline from February (43% approval, 52% disapproval), and surpasses his previous monthly lows from October and November when 42% approved and 53% disapproved.

The changes were driven mainly by a loss of enthusiasm among the president’s independent and Republican supporters: Strong approval for Trump was down 2 points among GOP voters, to 45 percent, and 1 point among independents, to 13 percent.

Trump remains underwater in crucial battleground states: President Trump also saw his approval marks decline in key Senate battleground states in March. Here’s where Trump stands in key battleground states:

• Ohio: (46% approve, 50% disapprove) (-5 percentage point change since February)
• Montana: (50% approve, 46% disapprove) (-5 net change)
• Arizona: (48% approve, 49% disapprove) (-4 net change)

Special Counsel Confirms Trump Is A Subject Of Investigation

Donald Trump’s attorneys were informed last month that Trump is, indeed, a subject of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, but does not at this time consider The Donald a “criminal target.”

From The Washington Post:

In private negotiations in early March about a possible presidential interview, Mueller described Trump as a subject of his investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. Prosecutors view someone as a subject when that person has engaged in conduct that is under investigation but there is not sufficient evidence to bring charges.

The special counsel also told Trump’s lawyers that he is preparing a report about the president’s actions while in office and potential obstruction of justice, according to two people with knowledge of the conversations.

Mueller reiterated the need to interview Trump — both to understand whether he had any corrupt intent to thwart the Russia investigation and to complete this portion of his probe, the people said.

Apparently, the Trumpster took this as “good news” that he had been vindicated.

Not quite.

As many legal experts have now pointed out, folks can go from “subject” to “target” quickly depending on new information gleaned from incoming evidence.

Trump Calls U.S. Immigration Laws “An Obama Joke” So Here’s Some Obama Jokes For You

In that Donald Trump called the United States’ immigration laws “an Obama joke” on Twitter today, Dan Pfeiffer (former Obama senior adviser) took us on a trip on the way-back machine to 2012 when the Trumpeter attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and Barack served up a few jokes to The Donald.

Let’s sit back and enjoy, shall we? When Obama turned his jokes to The Donald, apparently DJT became very uncomfortable. You’ll note he doesn’t laugh at all in the video below.

Some say this was the moment he decided to seriously consider a run for president.

Trump Attacks Amazon – Stock Market Drops 600+ Points

So. Much. Winning.

Shares of Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O) fell 6 percent on Monday after U.S. President Donald Trump again attacked the online retailer over the pricing of its deliveries through the United States Postal Service and promised unspecified changes.

“Only fools, or worse, are saying that our money losing Post Office makes money with Amazon,” Trump tweeted.

“They lose a fortune, and this will be changed. Also, our fully tax paying retailers are closing stores all over the country…not a level playing field!”

Shares of the company were down 5.9 percent at $1,362.48, wiping out nearly $45 billion from its market value.

Of course, you know Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, also owns The Washington Post which Donald Trump hates for their reporting.

Chris Christie: Trump’s “Hyberbolic” Salesman Style Could Land Him In Jail

Donald Trump’s former butt boy (and former New Jersey governor) Chris Christie told a panel on ABC’s “This Week” this morning that Donald Trump’s “hyperbolic” salesman style would not play well should he agree to give testimony to FBI agents.

“One of the things that makes the president who he is is that he’s a salesman, and salesmen at times tend to be hyperbolic,” Christie said.

“That’s OK when you’re working on Congress. It is not OK when you’re sitting talking to federal agents because, 18 U.S. C 1001 is false statements to federal agents, that’s a crime, that can send you to jail.”

Christie also offered that the Trumpeter should never “walk into that room with” Mueller.

Christie also called the Trump transition team “brutally unprofessional.”

Donald Trump Celebrates Easter With Immigration Rant

Donald Trump celebrated Easter by taking to Twitter and ranting about immigration saying “Border Patrol Agents are not allowed to properly do their job at the Border because of ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws like Catch & Release. Getting more dangerous. “Caravans” coming. Republicans must go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW. NO MORE DACA DEAL!”

Did you catch that last part – “NO MORE DACA DEAL!”

Just last week Trump was telling Dreamers it was the Democrats who weren’t trying to solve the DACA issue. Now he’s saying, “NO MORE DACA DEAL!”

He also berated Mexico for “doing very little, at stopping folks at the border.

Interestingly, Trump doesn’t seem to understand exactly what DACA is.

He added that “These big flows of people are all trying to take advantage of DACA. They want in on the act!”

The DACA program (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) is only for recipients who have entered the United States before their 16th birthday and prior to June 2007.

There’s no getting “in on the act.” Either you were in the U.S. before 2007 or you’re not eligible.

Poll: 67% Of Younger Americans Disapprove Of Donald Trump’s Handling Of The Presidency

A new poll released by the Associated Press today shows a large majority of younger Americans (age 15-34) disapprove of Donald Trump’s handling of the presidency, and call him “racist” and “unfit” to be president.

From The Hill:

Just 33 percent of Americans between the ages of 15 and 34 approve of the president’s performance in office, nine points lower than the average of all adults in the same poll this month.

In addition, more than six in ten younger Americans say Trump “is a racist” and is “generally dishonest,” while 60 percent exactly say he is “mentally unfit” for the office of the president.

The poll also shows widespread support for progressive causes among this age bracket, including 60 percent who want the government to do more to fight climate change and 67 percent who want a health care system in which “the government provides health insurance to all Americans.”

Now, if we could just get more young folk to get out and vote…
