Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) both condemned VP Kamala Harris this week for acknowledging (when asked) that Donald Trump is a “fascist.” Name calling? In a presidential election? Oh no! Of course, the Donald has made name-calling his trademark in politics. Over on CNN, Jake Tapper did a bit of trolling while reporting on the story by prefacing some video of Harris calling Trump a fascist. But instead played clips of Trump calling Harris a “fascist” long before Harris acknowledged the former president fits the description. CNN aired a similar montage of Trump slinging the “fascist” term at VP Harris last month when Republicans first began whining about Dems using the word.
