From CNN: “Trump has a frown on his face as the verdict reading is now complete. He is not moving.” Donald Trump is the first president in US history to be convicted of a felony. There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that bars a convicted felon from being elected president. However, as a convicted felon, he will not be able to vote for himself this fall as a resident of Florida.

A new Marist poll showed that most likely voters don’t plan on changing their minds whether or not Trump was found guilty, 17% of those polled who say a guilty verdict would make it less likely for them to vote for Trump. Sentencing is scheduled for July 11, just a week before the Republican National Convention. Breaking story – I’ll update here as more info comes in.
