Donald Trump’s approval rating took a quick 4-point drop according to the Gallup tracking poll.
Not sure whether it was the Trumpster’s woeful handling of the MAGAbomber where he bemoaned the ‘bomb stuff’ slowed down GOP voting, or if it was his tweeting about the World Series just hours after a mad Neo-Nazi interrupted a religious ceremony at a Pittsburgh synagogue and killed 11 people.
The last time Trump’s numbers dropped so sharply was this summer as border patrol officers were removing small children from their parents.
Caitlyn Jenner, arguably one of the most famous transgender people in the world, has penned an op-ed for The Washington Post saying her “outlook has changed significantly” regarding her support for Donald Trump and his administration.
“These past two years under President Trump have given me the opportunity to reflect on a lot of topics that have come up in the LGBTQ community and in our nation,” writes Jenner. “As I’ve watched and pondered, my outlook has changed significantly from what it was during my highly publicized and glamorized early Caitlyn days, when my life as an out trans woman was just beginning.”
Admitting she’s been on a learning curve since coming out as transgender, the 68-year-old shares she has “reflected on what my unique position of privilege means and how I can best use it to make a positive difference.”
Pointing to Trump’s declaration at the Republican National Convention in 2016 where he promised he would do everything in his power to “protect LGBTQ citizens from violence and oppression,” Jenner says she “saw fertile ground for change within the Republican Party on LGBTQ issues.”
With American views on LGBTQ citizens were improving, even in the GOP voter base, Jenner felt “optimistic that this was how I could leverage my privilege for change.”
After “many trips to Washington” which produced what she described as “positive” and “encouraging” conversations, Jenner felt hopeful for “positive change.”
“Sadly, I was wrong,” admits the former Olympian. “The reality is that the trans community is being relentlessly attacked by this president. The leader of our nation has shown no regard for an already marginalized and struggling community.”
“He has ignored our humanity,” continued Jenner. “He has insulted our dignity. He has made trans people into political pawns as he whips up animus against us in an attempt to energize the most right-wing segment of his party, claiming his anti-transgender policies are meant to “protect the country.”
“This is politics at its worst. It is unacceptable, it is upsetting, and it has deeply, personally hurt me.”
Jenner now feels her belief that she could work with the Trump administration to improve transgender lives was “a mistake.”
She calls the recently leaked Department of Health and Human Services memo, that reveals a plan to redefine gender in a very narrow manner that could virtually erase 1.4 million trans people in the United States, “just one more example in a pattern of political attacks” on trans people.
“I do not support Trump,” she shares. “I must learn from my mistakes and move forward.”
“I need to listen more to the members of the LGBTQ community and to learn more. I need to better use my voice, my privilege and my foundation to advocate and support our community.”
Jenner concludes with the statement: “The world needs to hear us. The world needs to know us. We will not be erased.”

Earlier this morning, as the nation is gripped with fear over more package bombs being discovered and a nationwide manhunt for a serial bomber intensified, the President of the United States tweeted that “bomb stuff” is affecting vote momentum for Republicans.
Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows – news not talking politics. Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!
The Trumpster also groused about how bots were being removed from his Twitter account (because ‘fake’) and it must be a ‘bias’ conspiracy.

As more bombs are being sent to even more liberal political foes of Donald Trump, the president continues to blame the media and the victims themselves.
After yesterday saw former President Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and CNN targeted with mail bombs, this morning we get word that former Vice President Biden was the target of a 10th mail bomb.
But the Trumpster blames everyone but himself for the dangerous attacks.
This morning he continued to blame the media in a tweet, echoing heated rhetoric he brought to a campaign rally last night.
“A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News. After stoking fears about “middle Eastern terrorists” being hidden in the midst of the caravan of migrants moving north through Mexico to the United States’ border, Donald Trump admitted today he has “no proof” that there actually ARE any terrorists traveling amid the caravan.
CNN’s Jim Acosta asked if he’s saying that there are terrorists in the caravan. Trump said “there could very well be,” adding, “I have very good information.”
He tagged in Vice President Mike Pence to talk about his call with the president of Honduras, and he said at one point it’s “inconceivable there would not be individuals from the Middle East as part of this growing caravan.” Acosta asked him directly if he has evidence of terrorists in the caravan, as opposed to just citing statistics.
Trump jumped in to say he’s spoken with the border patrol and they’ve intercepted “many people from the Middle East” and even ISIS at the border. Acosta again asked, “Are they in the caravan?” “They could very well be,” the President responded. “But there’s no proof,” Acosta noted.
“There’s no proof of anything. There’s no proof of anything. But they very well could be.”
Well, that settles that, huh?

Trust and believe, there will be no “middle class tax cut” in the next week or two.
Additionally, Trump has been extremely resistant to believe that the Saudi Arabian government was involved in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, even though a mountain of evidence is turning up daily.
Trump’s primary reticence is due in part to an arms deal his administration did with the Saudis that he doesn’t want to endanger because he says it would cost the U.S. jobs.
Initially, he said the arms deal would create 450,000 jobs.
Then, just days later, he told Fox Business that the deal would create 500,000 jobs.
On Friday that number had grown to 600,000 jobs, and by Saturday the Donald said 1 million American jobs rely on all Saudi investments, which total $450 billion.
Suddenly one arms deal is going to triple that figure?

A Florida man is accused of groping a female passenger while on a flight Sunday from Houston to Albuquerque and later telling authorities that the president of the United States “says it’s OK to grab women by their private parts.”
Bruce Michael Alexander, 49, of Tampa made his initial appearance in federal court Monday in Albuquerque on a charge of abusive sexual contact. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.
According to a criminal complaint, a woman told authorities the man behind her touched her twice and that she told him to stop and asked to change seats.

Donald Trump says that he and Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz have buried the animosity of the 2016 Republican primary as he heads to Texas today.

Trump is traveling to Texas to hold a massive get-out-the-vote rally for Cruz in the final days of a closer-than-expected race against Democrat Rep. Beto O’Rourke.
