New Trump Ad Attacks Hillary For Husband’s Alleged Sexual Assaults Decades Ago
Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is doubling down on the thinking that bringing up decades-old allegations of sexual assault by Bill Clinton will somehow bring down Hillary Clinton’s campaign for the White House.
The Trumpster posted this video to his Instagram account with the caption, “Is Hillary really protecting women?”
Check the minor key music, the slow fade up of Bill Clinton with a cigar in his mouth, and then the sound of hysterical laughter apparently coming from Hillary.
First, Trump portrayed Hillary as “laughing” at the Benghazi attacks, and now he has her “laughing” at alleged sexual assaults?
This is really low class stuff, kids.
Donald Trump Goes Instagram Attack Ad On Hillary Clinton
Juxtaposing images of Russian President Putin body slamming an opponent, an ISIS terrorist pointing a gun and Hillary Clinton jokingly barking at a campaign stop, Donald Trump put all those ingredients together to try and say “Is this what we want for a President?”
Fortune Magazine calls the spot “insane.”
The short video is a mash-up of clips featuring a laughing Russian President Vladimir Putin, ISIS pointing a gun, and a Hillary Clinton barking like a dog—a moment taken out of context from a February stump speech. It’s overlaid with text that starts out “When it comes to facing our toughest opponents…” and goes into snapshots of Putin body slamming an opponent in a white karate uniform and an image of an Arabic-speaking terrorist pointing a gun at the screen.
That all leads into the implication that Clinton is a “punchline” to the U.S.’ most dangerous opponents as it cuts to a multi-second clip of her barking like a dog, a move that was initially meant to shame Republicans in one of her campaign speeches.
I’m guessing Trump is already aware he’s given mucho ammunition for attack ads from his own campaign stops?
Hillary Haters Run Attack Ad Putting Words In Dead Men’s Mouths
This ran during the Democratic debate in several markets, paid for by the anti-Clinton Stop Hillary PAC.
Truly a new low in campaign tactics as the group puts words in the mouths of the four Americans killed in Benghazi.
And the questions allude to serious distortions of the truth. There have already eight Congressional investigations into the attack in Benghazi and every single GOP-led investigation concluded former Secretary of State Clinton did nothing wrong in the matter.
This is really distasteful and disrespectful.
