Nashville Grizzlies Rugby players offer naked calendar for fund-raising

The Nashville Grizzlies, a USA Rugby Division III club, needs your help and they’re willing to give the shirts off their broad backs to prove it.

While the Grizzlies have published their naked calendar for three years,  this time around they’ve brought professional photographer Chris Malone onboard to handle the touch job of shooting the athletes.

Funds raised from sales of the calendar will go towards sending the Grizzlies to the 2014 Bingham Cup — named in honor of Mark Bingham who died on United Airlines Flight 93 during the September 11, 2001 attacks — in Sydney, Australia.

Check out the 2014 Nashville Grizzlies calendar here.

Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir asks the world to NOT boycott Olympic Games in Russia

“The fact that Russia is arresting my people, and openly hating a minority and violating human rights all over the place is heartbreaking and a travesty of international proportions. I respect the LGBT community full heartedly, but I implore the world not to boycott the Olympic Games because of Russia’s stance on LGBT rights or lack thereof. I beg the gay athletes not to forget their missions and fight for a chance to dazzle the world.

“Olympics are history, and they do not represent their host, they represent the world entire. People make their own futures, and should a government or sponsor steal that future, whether it be a Russian government or American government, it is, as an athlete, the death and total demolition of a lifetime of work. Support the athletes. There isn’t a police officer or a government that, should I qualify, could keep me from competing at the Olympics.” – Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir

Halebop Hockey

A new pro-gay ad from the Swedish mobile carrier Halebop  set in a locker room confrontation:

English translation:

Guy 1: “Miss you, Theo Ekenborg [name of a guy]”

Guy 1: “Who’s that?”

Guy 2: “It’s …”

Guy 2: “It’s my boyfriend.”

Guy 2: “We’re celebrating our … one year anniversary”

Guy 1: “Congrats! One year, that’s not easy”

In the end you hear another guy in the background saying “I know who it is. He’s damn good looking”
