• DNA Magazine: Two of the most widely used AI image models will refuse to guess whether someone is gay from a photo, but happily edit that same face to “look gay” on request.

• NBC News: Mike Ditka, the legendary Chicago Bears coach who led the team to a Super Bowl XX victory, has died at the age of 86. • New York Times: The House of Representatives voted 222-209 to end federal government shutdown with six Democrats voting to support it, and two Republicans voting against it.

• Daily Dance: Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and pro Witney Carson dance a lovely Foxtrot to “Footprints In The Sand” by Leona Lewis in honor of his father, Steve Irwin. It amazes me Robert had no prior dance experience. The icing on the cake is his sister, Bindi, at the end of the dance. Brazil Launches AI Platform To Scan For Anti-LGBTQ Hate Speech

Brazil’s Ministry of Human Rights has launched an AI platform that will scan the internet looking for statements it considers hate speech against the LGBTQ community.
