Fox News: We Canceled Trump Before He Boycotted Us

After Donald Trump announced via Twitter that he would not be appearing on the Fox News network because they were being very “unfair” with him, Fox News issued their own statement saying they canceled his appearance on tonight’s The O’Reilly Factor before he tweeted his boycott:

“At 11:45am today, we canceled Donald Trump’s scheduled appearance on The O’Reilly Factor on Thursday, which resulted in Mr. Trump’s subsequent tweet about his ‘boycott’ of FOX News. The press predictably jumped to cover his tweet, creating yet another distraction from any real issues that Mr. Trump might be questioned about. When coverage doesn’t go his way, he engages in personal attacks on our anchors and hosts, which has grown stale and tiresome. He doesn’t seem to grasp that candidates telling journalists what to ask is not how the media works in this country.”

Hillary Clinton Set To Address Human Rights Campaign At Fall Board Meeting

Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton will address the staff, board and volunteer leaders of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBT advocacy organization, on October 3rd.

From Buzzfeed:

Calling Clinton a “visionary leader,” HRC President Chad Griffin said in a statement announcing the address that the former secretary of state “is a tremendous advocate for equality and has been a tireless champion for the advancement of LGBT rights as human rights around the globe.”

Griffin said that Clinton will be joining the group at its fall board meeting “to discuss the challenges ahead in the fight for full federal equality” for LGBT people. Clinton’s address will come the morning of its national dinner.

The group is yet to endorse a presidential candidate.

Griffin has a long association with the Clinton’s having begun his political career working on the 1992 presidential campaign of Bill Clinton.

Donald Trump Goes Off On Fox News – AGAIN

White House wanna-be Donald Trump took to Twitter to complain about what he felt was unfair treatment on that liberal bastion of political news, The O’Reilly Factor.

Bill O’Reilly, appearing on The Today Show this morning told Matt Lauer, “I’ve known Trump a long time. He wants people to like him. When people criticize him, he takes it personally.”

“That’s like the worst thing you can give Donald Trump is this tweeting thing,” he said. “I just think this is an extension of his reality show, The Apprentice. This is just theater right now.”

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker To Drop White House Campaign

According to the New York Times, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker plans to end his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination today. A press conference has been scheduled for 6PM today from Madison, Wisconsin.

The reason? His dramatic drop in the polls – he was at the top of most pundits list at the beginning of the year – where he now sees his stock plummet to less than one percent.

A supporter who was informed of the decision told the NY Times: “The short answer is money. He’s made a decision not to limp into Iowa.”

In addition to the disappointing poll results,  his lackluster performance in the two GOP debates thus far have apparently made donors nervous and have begun to flee the sinking ship.

One of his donors had this to say: “Donors have totally dried up for Walker, and getting people to come on Thursday was unbelievably hard. Everyone I know was just totally stunned by how difficult the fund-raising became, but the candidate and the campaign just couldn’t inspire confidence.”

Bye, Scott. It’s like we barely knew your union-busting self.

Hillary Clinton Climbs In New CNN/ORC Poll

Latest CNN/ORC poll factoring Vice-President Joe Biden

From CNN:

Clinton is backed by 42% of Democratic primary voters nationally, compared to 24% for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, 22% for Biden and 1% for former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.

That’s a marked improvement over an early September CNN/ORC poll that found Clinton leading Sanders, 37% to 27%, with Biden at 20%.

And Biden’s support comes almost entirely from Clinton’s camp. Without the vice president in the race, Clinton’s numbers climb by 15 percentage points, while Sanders’ increase by only 4 points — giving Clinton a nearly 2-to-1 lead at 57% to 28%, with O’Malley moving up to 2%.

Donald Trump’s Twitter Q&A Doesn’t Go Quite As Planned

Donald Trump took part in a Twitter Q&A today using the hashtag #AskTrump.

While he got some questions to lead him along in espousing how “huge” and “successful” he is, he also got several not-so-serious questions, although they were entertaining to the masses.

Carly Fiorina Surges In Polls After Strong Debate Performance

Two new polls show Carly Fiorina surging after a strong debate performance on Wednesday night.

According to a new Voter Gravity poll of 2,839 New Hampshire Republican Primary voters, they put Fiorina in the number one spot with 22%. Donald Trump trails her at 18%, and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson landing at third with 10%.

Additionally, a new CNN/ORC poll shows Trump has fallen 8 points in that national poll while Fiorina jumped an amazing 12 points.

Those numbers put Trump at 24%, Fiorina at 15% and Carson at 14%.

Sen. Marco Rubio saw a bounce from his showing at the debate jumping 8 points from 3% to 11%.

Thirty one percent of those polled said Trump was the loser of the debate, 52% said Fiorina was the victor.
