State Lawmakers Push Anti-Same-Sex Marriage Resolutions + More News

Some news items you might have missed: • The Advocate: North Dakota lawmakers are advancing a resolution calling on the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges, the 2015 ruling that established marriage equality nationwide. It’s worth mentioning the resolution has no force of law. • CBS News: Meanwhile over in Michigan, state Rep. Josh Schriver (R) has joined the trend introducing a similar resolution. With a Democratic majority in the state Senate, it won’t pass.

In Michigan Rep. Josh Schriver (R—of course) is pushing a resolution to the Supreme Court demanding they strip same-sex couples of all marriage rights. Something the party of organized hate has pushed in other states. Schriver has a history of neo-Nazi affiliations and pushing white supremacy.
