• LGBTQ Nation: Months after denouncing trans students using city public school bathrooms, outgoing New York City Mayor Eric Adams allocated $2 million in emergency funds to trans organizations suffering in the wake of sweeping federal aid cuts.
The financial relief was one of the last acts of disgraced former Mayor Eric Adams.

• The 19th: Five years after the violent January 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol, dozens of pardoned insurrectionists have been arrested again. The charges range from possession of child pornography to sexual assault, child molestation and aggravated kidnapping.
• Axios: The White House marked the anniversary of the Jan. 6 riot with an official webpage that rewrites history claiming the 2020 election was stolen, insists Trump’s supporters were peaceful that day, and accuses former Vice President Mike Pence of “cowardice and sabotage.”
• Queerty: Netflix announced the tenth and final season of Queer Eye will arrive on 21 January. The new season of the Emmy-winning show takes place in Washington, D.C.
• The Advocate: The state Supreme Court of Wyoming ruled Tuesday that two laws barring abortion, including the country’s first explicit ban on abortion pills, violate the state constitution.
• The Daily Beast: Venezuela’s opposition leader, María Corina Machado, has volunteered to give Donald Trump her Nobel Peace Prize after he reportedly refused to install her to run the country because she didn’t turn down the coveted honor.
