Sen. Dianne Feinstein Hospitalized After Fall

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after tripping and falling in her home city of San Francisco. The severity of her injuries is not known – only that she was taken to a nearby hospital and returned home that night. https://twitter.com/TMZ/status/1689269554587787264 From TMZ:

Senator Dianne Feinstein’s office released this statement … “Senator Feinstein briefly went to the hospital yesterday afternoon as a precaution after a minor fall in her home. All of her scans were clear and she returned home.”

The 90-year-old Senator has struggled with health issues over the last year. She was absent from the Senate for nearly 3 months earlier this year dealing with shingles, Ramsay Hunt syndrome and encephalitis.

The senator has also appeared confused at recent Senate hearings. An announcement was made in February that she will not seek reelection in 2024.
