Schwarzenegger To Russians: There Are Things Going On Being Kept From You

In a remarkable video posted across his social media on Thursday, Arnold Schwarzenegger sends a message to the people of Russia and Russian soldiers debunking widespread disinformation in their country regarding the war on Ukraine.

“I am speaking to you today because there are things that are going on in the world that are being kept from you, terrible things that you should know about.”

“You see, Ukraine did not start this war. Neither did nationalists or Nazis. Those in power in the Kremlin started this war. This is not the Russian people’s war.”

Schwarzenegger goes on to include facts about the bombing of maternity hospitals, killing of children, and 3 million refugees forced to flee Ukraine. He also addressed Russian President Vladimir Putin directly: “You started this war. You are leading this war.
