Out trans singer/songwriter Sasha Allen, a former finalist on The Voice, dropped his powerful anti-violence protest song, “Fire In America,” this week.
The powerful track has gone viral as Allen references the recent shooting death of far-right activist Charlie Kirk to wax pensive on the perpetual cycle of gun violence happening in America.
The lyrics underscore that violence is wrong while at the same time reminding the listener that without a course correction, the endless cycle of needless death will continue.
