Out: This week, Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ hit song “Unholy” reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. According to Billboard, Smith and Petras are “the first publicly non-binary and transgender soloists, respectively, to top the Hot 100.”

The Advocate: WNBA star Brittney Griner’s sentence was upheld by a Russian court on Tuesday after it rejected an appeal from the athlete. Griner is expected to be moved to a penal colony, where she’ll serve her prison sentence for phony drug charges.
