Idaho State Journal: An Idaho House committee on Monday advanced House Bill 557 that would block local policies that ban discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. Since 2011, 13 Idaho cities and towns passed nondiscrimination ordinances.

Variety: Pedro Pascal has come to the rescue agreeing to star in the Todd Haynes 1930s gay romance, De Noche, with Danny Ramirez. The film has been in limbo since Joaquin Phoenix abruptly exited the movie just five days before filming was set to begin in Guadalajara, Mexico, in August 2024.

The Advocate: The American Medical Association, which has long supported gender-affirming care for transgender youth, has now endorsed some restrictions including delaying gender-affirming surgeries be delayed until adulthood. While genital surgery is almost never performed on minors, some teens undergo top surgery or facial modifications.
