Five members of the Proud Boys have been charged with seditious conspiracy in connection to their alleged roles in the January 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol building.

Enrique Tarrio, longtime chairman of the extremist group Proud Boys, has been indicted on a new federal charge of seditious conspiracy along with four top Proud Boys members, in connection with the Jan. 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol building. 45% Say Trump Responsible For Capitol Invasion

The percentage of people who feel Donald Trump was responsible for the January 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol building has dropped in 16 months.

The New York Times took a look at the federal legislative options being considered to curb mass shootings in the U.S. by analyzing the Violence Project Mass Shooter Database. That analysis found 4 measures currently proposed by Democrats in Congress that might have changed the course of at least 35 mass shootings that killed a combined 482 people.
