New Music: Orville Peck ‘Too Little, Too Late’

Following the release of his 2020 EP Show Pony and the 2022 album Bronco, out country music star is back with Mule, which arrives on September 18.

Peck serves up a preview of the record with his new mechanic-themed music video, “Too Little, Too Late” —  a raucous, country-rock bop tailor-made for line-dancing, tapping your toes, and pretending you know how to change your oil.

Sharp-eyed viewers will recognize TRR favorites Sebastian Gonzalez and Zane Phillips (plus Chris Henderson) as the hunky mechanics in the vid.

Peck recently told Rolling Stone that the new collection chronicles one of the worst years of his life.

“I was a bad addict, a coping alcoholic,” he said. “And I had this spiral moment, where I went back to my hotel and tried to take my life. It was a big turning point for me, with a lot of realizations to come. It was something that needed to happen.”

Hot on the heels of his recent Grand Ole Opry debut, Peck has also announced his new fall “Man Turned Mule Tour.”
