Donald Trump used to be a fan of former Fox News host Megyn Kelly – until she pointed out this week that the Donald has “lost a step” in terms of mental sharpness. Kelly went on Glenn Beck’s show this week following the 4th Republican debate and noted his mental decline in the past few years:
“There’s no question that Trump has lost a step. Or multiple steps. He is confusing Joe Biden from Obama. I know he’s saying he intentionally did that. Go back and look at the clips. It wasn’t intentional. Anyone could have a slip of the tongue. It’s happened to him repeatedly.
“The reference about how someone will get us into World War II. Confusing countries…confusing cities where…it’s happening more and more. With all due respect to Trump, this is what happens when you’re 77 years old. Trump seems inhuman, but he’s not inhuman. He’s a human. He’s a man.
Kelly went on to add: “But are we really going to pretend that Donald Trump is just as vibrant and mentally sharp as he was?” https://twitter.com/DonLew87/status/1733537700433494141 So Trump took to his Truth Social account to lambaste Kelly for her role as moderator of the debate. After attacking his opponents in the race, Trump wrote, “The biggest loser was Megyn Kelly, what the hell happened to her? She has lost whatever she once had, which wasn’t very much. Some things never change!” File this under “Infighting is funny.”
