• LGBTQ Nation: A raid by police on an alleged “gay spa” in Kuala Lumpur last month saw over 200 individuals arrested, but ultimately yielded no convictions under colonial-era prohibitions on “carnal knowledge” between men. Engaging in same-sex acts in Malaysia carries penalties of up to 20 years in prison and mandatory caning.
The men have since faced a “serious breach of privacy and dignity” after leaked video of the raid went viral.

• Them: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration sent warning letters to a dozen manufacturers of chest binders last week, claiming that the binders — which trans men and some nonbinary people commonly use to flatten their chests — were not registered as medical devices in violation of federal law.
• New York Times: Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky offered little sense of a breakthrough regarding a peace deal to end the war with Russia after meeting today at Mar-a Lago. Trump spoke by phone with his boss, Russian President Vladimir Putin, for two hours prior to Zelenskyy’s arrival.

• Instinct Magazine: The Spanish-language sports drama, Olympo — which premiered in June 2025 and ran for eight episodes — will not be returning.
• PEOPLE: French film legend Brigitte Bardot has died at the age of 91. She rose to fame with her role in the 1956 film And God Created Woman, but retired from acting in the 1970s tired of her “sex kitten” image. In the 1990s and 2000s she stirred controversies related to anti-immigrant remarks and criticism of the #MeToo movement.
